Moderators neil Posted July 7, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 7, 2020 (edited) Yesterday my girlfriend and me both woke up to news alerts on our phones about Tom Meighan leaving Kasabian due to "personal issues" - this provided a laugh as neither of us are fans and thought it was great that google news felt it that important to alert us to. Today I see some reference on Twitter about them and assault. Fucking hell the "personal issues" were that he lamped his ex-fianceeĀ https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-leicestershire-53319170Ā (also lookingĀ like Hugh Laurie there). I can't remember seeing such a PR swerve, perhaps the band couldn't release more detail, but fuck me maybe wait until this comes out and condone it rather than giving a vague PR like that leading to people (morons) going "gutted tbh m8, luved seein u @ v festival". I saw it later in the day on twitter. People thanking him for being such a great lead singer and saying no Kasabian without him etc. I bet they are kicking themselves today.
