Is this like when they do spinoffs like CSI:Miami and Law & Order:SVU?

Almost fucking wept when I saw Mays was in it. In many ways, I'm Nilsen's 13th victim.

He paid for my breakfast once, so I'll not have a word against him.

I keep seeing a trailer for Outmatched on Fox. It's got Jason Biggs and Rachel Blanchard in it. Am I wrong in thinking it's Americans trying to remake Hugh Dennis vehicle Outnumbered?

Not really. It's more to do with the genius kids than anything. I think it was called something else before. It was cancelled after a season.

Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing is perfect television. Last nights Christmas episode was fantastic. Two old friends chatting shit and being idiots with some genuinely heartwarming moments (Bob chatting about the moment his mum told him his dad had died) . It's a miracle it ever got commissioned but I'm so glad it did.

Sunday 27th Dec  9.00pm Back to the 80s with Lenny Henry

Monday 28th Dec 9.00pm Back to the 90s with Vic Reeves

Tuesday 29th Dec 10.00pm Back to the Noughties with Davina McCall

Wednesday 30th Dec 10.00pm Back to the 2010's with Jimmy Carr

All decades will be focused on Channel 4 programmes from the past. Sounds pretty decent. Although they should've had someone from The Comic Strip Presents to host the 80s show.

Comic Strip didn’t have the cultural impact people who love it think it did, launched some careers but most were already known or started on the Young Ones. It was very good, but it’s never the top of the list of things the main cast are remembered for now.

The 80s one will be a bit crap anyway, 60 minutes on Countdown and The Tube, maybe 15 to 1 if they can be bothered. Could pad it out with Desmonds but that just crept in at the end of the 80s, most of its run was in the 90s.

I'd assume Saturday Live would feature heavily in the 80s episode
