Mint Jelly vs Mint Sauce?

Also, before I met my ex wife, you'll understand the 'ex' bit in a sec, I had no idea that some people only had one type of potato with their dinners. It's a two minimum in my book, 3-4 standard if you're counting croquettes.

Roasties, mash, and boiled for me, Clive.

Absolutely. Toby Carvery is arguably the worst place in the world. A haven for ageing Lib Dems and miserable couples on the verge of a break-up who don't want to spend time cooking for one another.

That was the standard around ours too. Bread and butter dipped in dripping for starters too.

There weren't many Lib Dems in the Croydon Toby last time I went. Quite a lot of vocal Brexiteers.

Bread and butter is a necessity with a roast. How else can you mop up the gravy and make mash butties?

No sweet potato in there? My spare room says thank you.

Toby Carvery is a proper UKIP-ers mecca. People who eat at a Toby are the same kind of people who go to those Only Fools & Horses themed pubs in Malaga and refuse to eat "any of that foreign muck".
