The Maestro
Fusilli is the clearly the best. And anyone that picks spaghetti is a savage.
Mr_Danger
Linguine is a big underrated pasta. Who doesn't love thick spaghetti, other than Arsenal fans.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted March 14, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted March 14, 2020 That's a good shout, I like linguine, and no doubt like many on here I have bought it accidentally several times because it's next to the spaghetti.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted March 14, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted March 14, 2020 No, I blindly buy shit in a supermarket thinking that Dale Winton is screaming at me to get a move on.

Mr_Danger
It's the Bobby Robson when you mistakenly buy the off brand version of something.
The Guvnor
I've got pasta! Real pasta! From a shop! Touch me, fuckers! I had to butcher a 4ft tall woman in her 80s in Waitrose to get it, but I've got it! Stubborn old bitch. She had a hell of a grip. If only she'd clung to life that hard. Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 15, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2020 Spaghetti is the best, obviously. It's the gold standard of pasta. However penne or fusili can be used in the widest variety of dishes so can see an argument for either of them. Bowtie pasta is an abomination.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted April 15, 2020 Author Moderators Share Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) I found myself watching this video the other day of handmade pasta shapes -Â Â It's hypnotic. Had a go at making some yesterday as it was a fun thing to do with my daughter. Some of them are really difficult. But the bowtie ones are super easy to do and actually tasted much better than dried bowtie pasta so I'm coming around on them. (If anyone cares I use the serious eats dough recipe, not the one in this video). Edited April 15, 2020 by Chest Rockwell
