Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted December 15, 2020 Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2020 Thanks. The purpose of the thread isn't to be a newsfeed, but more like a jump off for discussing points of interest about someone's life or death. I’m now reminded of the thread when that girl in Bristol was murdered and the ambulance chasing thread starter named it “The Christmas Present Nobody Wanted”

I think It was probably during a black dog episode I cant remember much of tbh. Massive gaps in memory. I'm sorry that I did.
Keith Houchen
Yeah it was back when you were announcing deaths on here before the families had been informed!
Moderators neil Posted December 16, 2020 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) https://pitchfork.com/news/love-as-laughter-sam-jayne-is-missing/ Sad to hear this, I was a huge fan of Love As Laughter in the late 90s/early 00s. I think I saw them around 2000 at either the garage or maybe the falcon, considered myself lucky to see them play as they were a small unknown band who rarely toured the UK. Great indie rock band. https://loveaslaughter.bandcamp.com/album/1-usa and https://loveaslaughter.bandcamp.com/album/sea-to-shining-sea are records that I loved and haven't listened to in a long time. EDIT: realising now that there is a song on that second album called "Sam Jayne = Dead" which is especially grim considering the news and circumstances around this Edited December 16, 2020 by neil
LSM
Â It's being reported the Jeremy Bulloch who was the original Boba Fett in Star Wars has passed away. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy a few times at comic cons. Such a nice guy and always spent a long time chatting to fans. Sad loss. https://www.google.com/amp/s/comicbook.com/movies/amp/news/star-wars-boba-fett-actor-jeremy-bulloch-passing-empire-strikes-back/ Edited December 17, 2020 by LSM
cobra_gordo
Gutted about Jeremy Bulloch. He always seemed like the nicest guy and someone who was genuinely greatful to fans and to costumers/prop builders for how much they loved him. Never got the chance to meet him before he stopped doing conventions which I'll always regret. Yep probably saw him at close to 30 different events over the years and he was one of the kindest and most genuine and caring people at every one. You can't fake that so often. He was just so grateful and made everyone feel special. He'll be missed by everyone he met and worked with.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 17, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted December 17, 2020 I wonder whether there'll be a little tribute in the Mandalorian.
LSM
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/rosalind-knight-carry-on-actor-died-channel-4-b405739.html%3famp Actress Rosalind Knight has passed away. She was a star in a couple of Carry On films in the 1950s but I'll remember her best for playing Mrs Cresswell in the Only Fools & Horses special The Jolly Boys Outing. I had the pleasure of meeting her at a comic con and she was such a lovely lady. Edited December 20, 2020 by LSM
CAREBEAR LUVVA
Ahh she was boss. RIP Beryl / Horrible Grandma.
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted December 20, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted December 20, 2020 Thats both Horrible Grandma and Nice Grandma this year.  Cracking actor, if she was in something you would get a great performance regardless of the part. She, in my opinion, mastered the art of acting with her eyes like few others have.
