Onyx2 2,839 Report post Posted November 24 (edited) Yes, there is a Star Wars thread. But I promised johnnyboy I'd put this in it's own thread for those so devoted to the mouse they insist on waiting until Easter 2020. For pirates like me, how are you finding it? I think it's excellent. Not overblown, and a decent fit for the Star Wars universe without treading familiar storylines. The restraint on the script is well judged, and exploring the Mandalorian religion is really interesting. The Jawas were excellent value, and seeing Mando truck around in the sandcrawler without enough space was fun. Enjoyed everything about Nick Nolte too. And one more thing, it's about the perfect balance of real effects and CGI. Really well judged. Edited November 24 by Onyx2
WyattSheepMask 1,844 Report post Posted November 24 I’m really enjoying it so far. There’s been a fair bit of hate online about a lack of action and female characters, but that’s probably people who could start an argument in an empty room.
Snugglecakes 56 Report post Posted November 24 The second half of episode 3 is the best Star Wars has been since Empire.
HarmonicGenerator 2,057 Report post Posted November 24 (edited) Also really enjoying it. I would fight a star war to keep The Asset safe. Some incredible puppeteering with that character. Really like the pulpy feel, right down to the end credits and score. I also like that they haven’t felt the need to try and be deliberately gritty and dark, the tone is just right. I have spoken. Hannibal Scorch 1,329 Report post Posted November 25 As has already been said, that last 10 minutes of episode 3 was phenomenal stuff. Genuine goosebumps. And the Asset toys are going to fly of the shelves. Especially if they are able to get them out by Christmas as suggested. on a side note, the Jeff Goldblum show and Imagineering are both well worth a watch as well. Jonny Vegas 92 Report post Posted Saturday at 02:02 PM Prior to this weeks episode I was thinking that it would have been Boba Fett that rescued Mando and then left him to be raised by The Mandalorians after he had been orphaned. After this weeks episode I'm even more inclined to think that way. What a brilliant show so far, I was concerned how Star Wars live action would translate into episodic series format but so far it really has been excellent. Marc Ambush Solo 2 Report post Posted Saturday at 03:30 PM It's Obvious gonna be Obi-Wan Kenobi who is gonna save Mando (to connect this serie to the upcoming Obi-Wan serie) and who placed him with the Mandalorians. In the Clone Wars series Obi-Wan has connections to Mandalore (both good and bad)! Â Â But I could be totally wrong here of course...

Yeah those idiots are best ignored. Probably just me but Mando reminds me a little of Karl Urban's portrayal of Judge Dredd.
