Well, I'd say it has been dropping in popularity since 2001, so that's 18 years already?

Seth got shitloads of heat for this and that's the aim behind it. 😎

Seth's a babyface, "shitloads of heat" couldn't be further from the aim.

It provides him with no edge at all. He got disqualified in a match with no disqualifications, for doing something that is no where near the worst thing that's happened in the Cell. This comes after he's squealed like a toddler through the whole feud.

They've mugged him off so badly and consistently for so long that you'd think he sent those dick pics to Linda McMahon.

Good character development is going to lead to more buys and the more people talking about the finish the more WWE will get back to watch for the rematch. Seth got shitloads of heat for this and that's the aim behind it. 😎

1) Good character development - wrong.

2) More buys? No chance.

3) People wanting to go back for a rematch? Nah. No one is wanting to see that again.

4) As already said - he's your fucking top babyface. Nothing about how they've booked him has been good character development or the right kind of heat.

According to Kaitlyn, he was just sending unsolicited dick pics to all the girls so it wouldn’t surprise me.

I am sure I read in one of the reports when the deal was done there was a 4 million viewership expectation and if it moves below it, Fox could relent on the deal or move it elsewhere (maybe to FS1 or similar). IF that happens, they surely would not get a similar deal elsewhere. Even if there is no get out, when that 5 year term is up, they could decide not to renew, or renew at a lower amount so eventually all this negativity will hit them in their pocket if nothing else.

You'd have to imagine Seth would have been all over Twitter after the show, had his feed not been defanged somewhat from the Ospreay stuff.

He hasn’t been back on since the Sasha stans sent him death threats a couple weeks back

The psychology and flow was all off in that main event (even though I can kind of see what they were going for- wanting to present the Fiend as an unstoppable and unbeatable monster).

It went downhill after the Stomp and the kickout at one. Seth, desperate, hits several other stomps which fail to keep him down: this waters down the stomp, previously one of the coolest looking finishers, and essentially Seth’s best offence, making Seth look useless.

Then, panicked, he gets a chair and hits him in the face only for him to kick out, then he grabs the ladder and again he kicks out, so he moves into the next thing, but this time, hits him with the tool box but doesn’t go for the pin, instead, pouts around the ring, searching and searching for something else, which, logically, he would only have needed to do if the toolbox hadn’t worked.

meanwhile, the Fiend, the unstoppable monster, is laid out for several minutes, before popping back up and destroying Seth. If Seth has gone for the pin in between each attempt with a new weapon, only to have the fiend continually kick out, until he gets to the desperate point, only then to get back up and hit the mandible claw, it would have looked way cooler, Bray would have looked like a monster and would have been a hell of a visual. This however, wouldn’t have got them out of the mess they got themselves into by booking the match in the first place.

You can’t have an unstoppable monster in the title picture, because, for a title match to work they need to be vulnerable which ruins the unstoppable nature of the character in the first place.

They would have been better off having the match never start, maybe have Bray destroy the ref once the door was locked, with no one else being able to get in to the cell (maybe even have them scrambling to open it while Bray was destroying Seth, and when they finally get in, Seth is in no condition to compete after 20 minutes of brutality: they could have even tried a similar thing with the Seth offence this way without everyone looking like a chump.

terrible execution in a match they didn’t need to get themselves into in the first place.

The should have just had Strowman win the title last month then gone 6 man Armageddon style in the main event with Seth, Corbin, McIntyre, Fiend and a returning Demon. Have everyone go nuts, and target Strowman injuring him. As medics go in to attend to him it spills out, Demon and Fiend right up the ramp while Seth and Drew fight on top of the cage. Corbin locks himself in the Cell and as starts laying out medics as one everyone shits it he is going to win. One medic catches a punch and fires back, then everyone realises Gable snuck in disguised as a medic. Allowing Strowman to get the win by skin of his teeth.

That would be long term booking.

The network is pulling in roughly $15M a month or $180 million a year alone without counting TV deals, Saudi money, Live event money (around $150-200K a show based on last years 5000 average attendance and $30-40 average ticket price)

In 2006 WWE income was $400M, in 2017 it was $800M. If i ran a company that managed to increase its turnover by $400 million in 12 years i'd be happy. You can only see this increasing over time (based on the last 14 years growth on growth)

WWE is like the premier league. The crowds don't matter as the clubs (or in WWE case, the brand) profits are not directly linked to live attendance any more. WWE could probably run empty arena TV shows and still make a profit on them from TV deals and Network subscribers alone

What really bothered me was you could see clearly Bray was protecting himself by moving the stuff on top of him to less-in the impact and cushion the blow he even pushed the ladder up with his hands so it was off his face. Just makes it look fake.

Yeah, he should’ve definitely not protected himself and had his brain scrambled, then he’d make as much sense as you
