Apparently plans have changed for the first two weeks at least, with only the first hour being live on USA and then the 2nd hour on the Network

The historic debut of WWE NXT on USA Network is fast approaching, and WWE.com has you covered with important details on how to catch all the action of the first two live episodes.

The episodes on Wednesday, Sept. 18 and Sept. 25, will air as follows:

* The first hour will air live on USA Network starting at 8/7 C
* The second hour will stream live on the award-winning WWE Network at 9/8 C. The second hour will then be immediately available for on-demand viewing on WWE Network.

Already announced for the Sept. 18 episode is a huge NXT North American Title bout between champion Velveteen Dream and challenger Roderick Strong of The Undisputed ERA, as well as a Triple Threat Match featuring Bianca Belair, Io Shirai and Mia Yim to determine the next challenger to NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler.

Don't miss out on a second of the action when the gold standard in sports-entertainment goes live later this month!

Well, the fact that they were able to score higher ratings over WWE for a period certainly didn't hurt them. Whether AEW turn out to be shit or not remains to be seen but being on free TV has to be considered a big leg up, surely?

I was merely asking the question whether TNA was always ahead of WWE in ratings over here with the free station advantage, I don't know.

Yeah TNA always done bigger numbers on Challenge. The company and their fans used it to tout them as being the biggest wrestling company in the UK - can't blame them for that - but it was always misleading when you consider Sky showed a million WWE package shows a week. I'm sure if you added up all those unique viewerships WWE were still getting more eyeballs on a weekly basis.

There were times there around 2008 - 2012 that TNA were better off using clips from UK house shows in vignettes showing themselves off, because they always had their biggest looking crowds.

When you get a tna guy on a family show, the kids go nuts for them still. So it’s still watched now, aew being on itv will give them a massive ground level Following to the non sky subscribers across the uk.
