Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted November 8, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) No, Rangers will prob play the youth. Rangers 2 - Porto 0 is quite remakable really when you think how on its arse Rangers were about 7-8 years ago, travelling to Elgin City and now beating the Champions Leagues Quarter Finalists and drawing the Porto game before. Celtic beating Lazio twice is tremendous too. Edited November 8, 2019 by bAzTNM#

Although not qualified yet, 2 draws should seal it for Rangers and they will get at least 2 points.
David
So, this weekend marks the end of the top flight hibernation period and the third round of the Scottish Cup. Some decent ties this round. Hamilton at home to Edinburgh City, St Johnstone at home to Morton, and Hearts at home to Airdrie are all potential upsets I reckon, with the tie of the round undoubtedly being Dundee United and Hibs. My own Motherwell play away to the Dee live on the BBC with a ridiculously shit kick off time of 7:20pm on Friday night. Anyone else got any interest in the cup games this weekend? Or even attending one? Edited January 15, 2020 by David

One (now two) of their players then promptly tested positive for Covid after returning home. Incidentally, Celtic are 21 points behind in the league and most of their fans are generally apoplectic at the fact that this trip went ahead at all. Not sure how that fits into Neil's accusations of anti-Celtic sentiments. Â Edited January 18, 2021 by Daaaaaad!

Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted March 6, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted March 6, 2021 Been a shambles by Celtic this season, if we can get a good manager in and try and rebuild and cash in one people like Edouard and Ajer. The transfers this season were horrid.
MungoChutney
Our recruitment has been poor for a long time, covered up by the Dembele and Edouard type signings. I think we were all quite hopeful given the calibre of last summers signings on paper and being more than a modest spend. It hasn't worked out at all though, predominantly because Lennon had no idea how to devise a system or style of play that suited the squad. Rangers have been very good in the league and have had that knack of winning games when not playing well that they didn't have previously.
SuperBacon
I'm just pleased that, despite not playing much this season, Defoe will finally get a winners medal. He deserves it. I'm counting it as a Spurs win.

Celtic’s recruitment, as you mentioned, has been weak in recent seasons, but you can’t really say that about Rangers, at least in terms of players they spent money on (Grezda is the biggest flop, and there were a few suspect loan signings, but generally they’ve done very well indeed in the transfer market)
stewdogg
Wonder if Celtic will lose today rather than suffer the humiliation of your rivals winning the league at your ground

Daaaaaad!
Spectacular effort by Celtic to tank it so impressively. Even if you disregard the fact that Rangers have still yet to hit double figures for goals conceded in the league, to lose the league in March having won the previous nine is some stretch. Well done to Rangers on number 55, Celtic fans having absolute meltdowns on Twitter.
