Uncle Zeb 1,898
Seabrooks don't taste the same unless bought from an ice-cream van in the late '80s/early '90s.

Yup, Brannigans thickness and powerful taste laughed at the competition. That’s why I’m surprised they are either not available, or mainly in budget stores. I’ve never had these yet, but they claim to be the thickest crisp.

They seem to always have flaming hot ones, probably because Cheetos do that flavour and they are basically the same. Poundland do the big single bags as well. Good luck
Mr_Danger 3,411
Cheetos wish they had the consistency of a Wotsit. I had a go at one of those giant Flamin' Hot Mixem's. Where can I get the spicy French Fries?

At least to a kid who is very particular about the foods you give him.    Farmfoods is the one for Branigans. Mr_Danger 3,411
Nah they aren't the same. It's like Pepsi and Coke. A true crisp connoisseur knows. Cheetos are a bit polystyreney whilst a Wotsit has a bit more crunch. Both fine on their own merrits.
Paid Members tiger_rick 11,867 Posted February 21, 2020 Paid Members Report Share Posted February 21, 2020 Crisp porn incoming. For the benefit of the anal amongst us, some of these products are not crisps. Please leave the thread by the back exit. Picked these up in a corner shop in Soho. Absolutely delicious. And as a bonus, wife and kids didn't like them, so I got them all! Not a massive pretzel fan but the "cheese" with the crispy dough and salt was divine. Daughter grabbed these in one of those "import" shops on Oxford Street. 1p short of FIVE QUID, equivalent to outright buying an ex-council house in East Hull. The sharp cheddar were really nice. Parmesan very, very boring. Found these in Morrisons while we were spending an unplanned 2 hours at a Kwik-Fit in Northampton. The steak Wotsits are bloody lovely. As a permanent dieter, I'm a big fan of Snak a Jacks and these new cheese ones are great. 3 bags for £3 too. Fuck you, Oxford Street. Meant to post these earlier in the week. Found these in a Chinese supermarket in Hull on Sunday. They are bloody lovely. Not massively different to other Pizza flavoured stuff I've had before like Pringles but a really good crisp with a nice flavour. Best of the bunch, tbh, which is good because I know where to find these without driving for 3 hours.
Mr_Danger 3,411
On one hand Rick getting some fancy non crisp from Soho and describing it as "devine" is completely destroying the image of Hull that this place has created. On the other hand Rick going to London on a crisp holiday completely restores the image of Hull this place has created.
Paid Members tiger_rick 11,867 Posted February 21, 2020 Paid Members Report Share Posted February 21, 2020 We really only went to find a cupcake shop in Soho run by a lass off YouTube if that's any better/worse?
SuperBacon 7,977
Oh fucking hell Rick. Well done. I’ve just planned my day tomorrow around going to the American shop in Kingston now as they have both the Snyders and the Cheez-It’s in. That for me was an absolute gang bang of a post. Paid Members Kaz Hayashi 3,542 Posted March 9, 2020 Paid Members Report Share Posted March 9, 2020 I’m sure many of you have had these, but these are a billion times better than Wotsits, Cheetos and anything similar. Bigger, with a mountain of fake cheese flavour. Drowned in artificial goodness. Two big bags for a quid too.
