I’m disappointed they’re doing another Casino Battle Royale. For a company who’s proved that they’re listening and learning, I can’t understand how anyone in power could’ve watched the last one and thought it was a good concept to repeat. Wrestlers people don’t know coming out five at a time, so no-one gets introduced properly or has a chance to stand out. Terrible idea in concept, proven to be even worse in execution.

When talking about Tully managing Shawn Spears, Jim Cornette said if Dusty was booking Arn would be in Cody's corner and Tully and Arn would both turn on Cody at the end. Wouldnt be stunned if that happens to be honest!

I'm surprised they haven't made use of Arn already, especially with Tully in the mix.

I disagree. The concept worked for me, and some of the match was actually really decent. What let it down was the camera work and commentary team.

Did you think the concept worked better than just doing a normal Battle Royale, where every minute or two everyone gets an individual entrance, with their music playing, at which point they run wild and hit some signature spots whilst the commentators give some backstory?

That's a Royal Rumble, not a normal Battle Royale. With a Battle Royale, there have been plenty of times 2/3 of the people enter to generic music and stand around until the real stars enter.

The concept for a debut show was rough because so many people were new. Now, though, a lot more will be recognisable, which is going to help a lot.

Whatever you want to call it, there's no reason they couldn't do individual timed entrances so that everyone wasn't lost in the shuffle.

It's also a Women's Battle Royale at All Out, with loads of new women that people won't have seen before. It's the exact same scenario as what happened last time. There'll be a bunch of people who need proper introductions and space and time to shine but none of that will happen because of the shitty, over-complicated TNA rules.

How long should each get? A minute or two each would mean 20-40 minutes of either the pre-show or a main PPV just on entrances. That sounds unbelievably shit. Even 15-30 seconds would mean 5-10 minutes of air-time that was just pure entrances. At which point, people would be whining that it wasn't enough time for anyone to stand out.

Huh, weird that because...

The show was great but the casino battle royal was awful. It was a bad idea from the get-go and the shit moments outweighed the good. Top marks to the commentary and production team though.

Jesus! I am pretty sure that is a first on this forum. Stalk someone's comments, quote it and change the wording. What is your issue chief?

Have we talked about the rumours of WWE trying to buy FITE TV anywhere? Because that could be a massive story. So many people rely on that for internation distribution.

Haven't MLW also just signed to Fite? So that would be TNA, AEW, MLW and many others without distribution?

Misguided attempt at a joke, is all. Apologies, HS.
