Mat
This is a pretty big move and I’m positively intrigued. Not entirely sure how people can be negative on this considering Paul Heyman lead the best Smackdown era in history as widely regarded by many. Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 27, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 27, 2019 I think this is a good idea. I hope we get pushes now for Eddie, Benoit, Edge and RVD.
Mr Kennedy
You can just imagine the quick fire scattergun approach of ideas getting thrown at Vince as he’s sitting in his office and this is the one that sticks. Ratings wont improve until Baron Corbin is off TV. Why don’t they just start there? Edited June 27, 2019 by Mr Kennedy

It’s actual roles not storyline characters. They report direct to Vince. Bischoff will also have to deal with Fox TV execs.

Yeah, 17 years ago. By that logic Vince McMahon should still be producing a quality wrestling product like he was during the later 90's and early 00's. DavidB6937
I'm all for Heyman getting involved more. Despite his failings as a business manager, he's got a great sense for the business overall and seems to understand a lot more about building characters and getting people over than most. Will be interesting to see what Bischoff has to offer these days. At least it's not Russo.
Factotum
Yeah Paul E. is always worth it. I thought if Brock was done then he might be tempted to pop to AEW as a consultant as he's still got a great mind and he's in with all those guys. Plus he still seems to watch everything. Thing is, you know him and that mad bastard are going to clash heads. Easy E still winning at life
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 27, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted June 27, 2019 Heyman currently on the phone to Meltzer to get the spin going I imagine. Nothing will be his fault when it all goes tits up. I guarantee it.
wordsfromlee
Vince spent all those years trying to beat them in the Monday Night Wars just to crawl back to them when it stuff starts going a bit tits up.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 27, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 27, 2019 We can all take the piss and they deserve it but I'm 9,999,999 times more interested in WWE than I was two hours ago. Even a car crash will be better than the last year.
wordsfromlee
I wonder if this is the start of Vince finally realising he need to start stepping away and handing the reigns over.

Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 27, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted June 27, 2019 I wonder if this will be a move similar to 2002, when they brought Russo back. I wonder if Vince will have a "what have I hired this cunt for?" moment and it'll all go back to how it was in a fortnight.
Mr Kennedy
Still don’t see how this is going to help by the way if Vince still gets final creative say.  It just means that the good ideas which get shot down are being put forward by different people now.
