For me, it's an episode of the short lived, Supernanny esque "The Teen Tamer" specifically the one titled "Foul Mouthed and Furious"

Featuring a young lad, who's name escapes, whilst clearly troubled - which I don't think was ever addressed much beyond 'a little shit' - was so impossibly badly behaved, I was simultaneously stunned and hysterical throughout.

I'm almost certain he didn't have Tourettes, and yet swore as if it was grammar, he was violent, and spat, resulting in one of my favourite interventions, whereby this behaviour specialist got him a giant bit of sponge out in the back garden that he could lash out on if frustrated.  Within a couple of days it was covered in scrawling of "FUCK" and as described by the narrator, soaked with spit.

His one weakness this lad, was, bizarrely, Coronation Street, and one evening, as punishment for his bad behaviour, he was confined to his bedroom and not allowed to watch it.  Cue a comedic crashing sound off camera, the parents rush out to find him watching the portable telly in his sisters bedroom, where he slammed the door shut on them yelling "HAHA TRACY BARLOW, I FUCKIN' SEEN IT".

You know how these shows always end with a visit back to the family some two weeks after they've tried to implement their behaviour plan, to glowing reviews and angelic children all round.  I remember this one basically ending with something like "We still have our ups and downs" and cutting hastily to the end credits, as if that was the only bit of untainted audio they were able to glean from a days shooting,

This is the only bit I can find on YouTube from another episode altogether, but you get the jist...

Anyone remember the Rambo Animated Series? Was it shown over here, as i dont remember it at all. Only found out about it the other day randomly online and I can't see any dvd releases of all the episodes available.

Not even any *ahem* downloads available either.

Now it's over the paywall, and as there's no fucking way anyone else has written about this terrible show in such detail, here's a thing I wrote about the Rambo cartoon, which is weird as shit.

Pre-sky I remember seeing a show called Teen Angel on the Fun Factory. It was a late 80’s show and was set in the 50’s, American diner type environment.

There was another one made after it, much more popular and modern times themed. I could only find episodes of that one online.

That was until I found this random German version, of course, Teen Engel.

I still haven’t found English speaking episodes. In fact I don’t care if I do, I just wanted to confirm I wasn’t making it up. No one else I know had seen it. All I could remember was the intro music.

There used to be a ton of Japanese anime dubbed into English on kids' tv when I was a lad.  There was one show where the heroes all flew spaceships or possibly aircraft that resembled birds of prey, and had natty bird looking helmets?  It had a boss intro tune, that's all I can remember.

That sounds like it could be Goldorak. Very popular in France.

Not particularly holy grail like as its up on YouTube, but the story stuff from Thunderbirds 2086 is quite interesting. The anime was apparently inspired by Thunderbirds, sold back to ITC and adapted into a "new" Thunderbirds show for Western release.

@Kaz Hayashi I am pretty sure that Teen Angel starred a pre 90210 Jason Priestley. I am sure I saw it as part of The Mickey Mouse club we used to have on ITV back in the late 80's which was where I remember seeing Chip and Dale Resue Rangers as well. Also, mid 90's there was a new Teen Angel series which was like a studio sitcom which crossed over with Sabrina the Teenage Witch as they were on the same network in the states. It was on the Disney Channel over here.

"EDIT" Sorry, just clicked on your video so yeah, we are talking about the same thing. I think there were 2 Teen Angel series in the late 80's (one dubbed returns)and then the sitcom one in the 90's.

Correct. In my post I mention a modern day version (sit com) which has typically been the only thing I could find video wise online, until I found that German upload.

Yeah, I remember that one not being that great.

Thinking of random American shows which didn't last very long. I remember C4 of a weekday being a hot bed for not very long running shows. Eerie, Indiana, Running The Halls, Phenom. I think all lasted one season as well (and Eerie Indiana was the best of the bunch by a long shot. Still remember the Tupperwear episode)
