Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 3, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2019 I was actually only recently thinking of the Heroes of Wrestling show and what a 2019 version of it would be. I began thinking it would probably be the likes of Gangrel vs Godfather and Flash Funk vs a fake Patroit. It all depends on what you consider match fit. Without the WWE medical testing, you know Flair and Hogan would jump back in there, even with all the health problems. Probably against each other. There's plenty of star names still around (usually getting the big paydays at Mania.) Anyway, here's one. Stone Cold vs Goldberg The Rock vs Triple H The Undertaker vs. Kane (masked Kane!, he burned himself again) Booker T vs Scott Steiner DDP vs The Big Show The Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz Shawn Michaels vs Jeff Jarrett PCO and The Mountie (with Johnny Polo) vs. the 123 Kid and Marty Jannetty
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted May 3, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2019 Shawn Michaels vs Goldberg must have happened on a random Raw in 2003.

Loki
That has to be up there in the "biggest random Raw matches" category.  Like that Hogan v Flair match the year before I think?  It's always odd when they give away on free tv something they never present on PPV. Quite a few of these kind of matches took place in the era of single brand PPVs being the only ones that took place in a given month and one episode of Raw or SmackDown had a massive match, usually a title match, in a very "Clash of the Champions" feel. For instance the Shawn vs Goldberg title match was October's big Raw while Downers had the PPV, the month before was Unforgiven as the RAW PPV and SmackDown put on the Lesnar/Angle Iron Man match and I believe WGTT vs Los Guerreros. Gets a bit if stick that era, but for me that was when they actually did it correctly.
