Guest
Thing is, with how silly America still lets mortgage commission be, Conradās day job probably puts him above the range of most of wwe up to upper mid card. As big a mark as he is for the business, heās not a silly or ungreedy man. He knows his valueĀ

He knows his valueĀ ThisĀ Ā Conrad has said publicly the mortgage thing is his main gig and heās in no rush to give it up for wrestling. Ā Ā He plays it off as being humble but heād be daft to jack it in. Ā All it takes now is for Schiavane to get bored of his own podcast, and Bischoff to get a full time gig that gets him out of the game and Conrad is just another money mark. Ā Ā Ā Plus whats going to be his job in WWE? Ā Ā Heās fat, southern, and bearded no way Vince is letting him on Raw or Smackdown. Ā Ā His ācreativeā is obsessing over wrestler dicks and quoting dirtsheets. Axxess or however we spell it these days, is doing just fineĀ so I donāt know what he brings to the backstage. Ā Ā Outside of a reprise of the Ā Network show, Iām not sure what else he brings to the table. Ā Ā
Doctor Whos Next
Looks like Itās JR getting the Bruce slot: Ā https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.sescoops.com/jim-ross-conrad-thompson-new-podcast-venture/amp/
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted March 1, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2019 Cornette was saying on his podcast today thatĀ the reason Bruce has been hired is because he can better explain what Vince wants to the creative team from their having worked so closely together in the past. Maybe it's a way for Vince to tryĀ and retain control while he's away doing the XFL stuff.

Although that said Ross is fucking odd on his podcast, generally felt uncomfortable listening to him a few times.Ā
Paid Members BigJag Posted March 1, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hmmm. Can't see Ross and Conrad having the same dynamic that Conrad has/had with Pritchard, Bischoff, and Schiavone. I can see the Ross shows being a lot more serious and no shouting.
Paid Members gmoney Posted March 1, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2019 Ross is 100% more likely to start gleefully talking about killing a dog, so count me out.Ā

His family used to breed puppies but the dog ended up getting impregnated by one of her own pups so JR's dad put all the subsequent puppies in a sack and told JR to kill them. Paid Members tiger_rick Posted March 1, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2019 The worst thing is that JR tells the story like it's some sort of hilarious family annecdote. Like "Remember that time our Julie sneaked three shandies at cousin Teresa's wedding and had a piss on the dance floor?"

Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted March 1, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2019 To be fair, the few times I heard JR tell the story was as evidence of how much of a strict disciplinarian his father was. It had been JR's fault the pen had been left open and the pups were inbred and so his father had made him kill them as a punishment. It's a horrible story and I don't think I've ever heard him tell it with any fondness. The cruelty came from his father.Ā
