if Hogan has as much say in the casting as he did with his booking then I reckon Hulk Hogan - Chris Hemsworth Ed Leslie - Denzel Washington Metallica - Desmond Dekker And The Aces The Nasty B

Are you sure Big Joe, Damon Leigh or Thomas Wolfe wouldn't do a better job? I've heard they've really reinvented themselves at Futureshock. In fact I've heard that more than once.

I hope thereā€™s a scene where The Rock is backstage and gives Hogan some advice.

Is this the reaction when they play the clip of "the other movie" he made on the titantron?

It was my trying to findĀ a picture of Hogan to go with Pat's "Paige here" reference.

I just don't understand what the narrative arc of a Hulk Hogan movie will be. It's not going to cover his whole career, so will likely end at WM3 by the sounds of things. But it's not like he's Bruno overcoming childhood infirmity and surviving the Nazis, or Flair coming back from the plane crash, he's a huge bloke who was very quickly a star everywhere he went and then remained that way - in the scope of the movie, there's no real threat to his position. So where's the stakes, where's the peril?

Well there is a ready made Oscar worthy scene where he hasĀ to make the tough decision as to whether or not to continueĀ wrestling or become the new bass player in Metallica, or the scene of him frantically trying to get home so that he doesnā€™t miss the call fromĀ the Lean Mean Grilling Machine people before they move onto George Foreman

Surely it'll justĀ be the old "Wrestling only existed in small, dingy clubs and was run by crooks before Hulk and Vince came along and made it mainstream" story? You'll get Hogan as the nice guy who just wants to entertain people and put smiles on kids faces, fighting against the politics and bullying of the wrestling business. Big scene at the start will be Hiro Matsuda breaking Hogan's leg on his first day of training, because he just wouldn't quit, brother. There will probably beĀ a bit where an old school promoter refuses to give Hogan "The Belt", despite his popularity,Ā because he's "not a real wrestler" and end it with him proving everybody wrong at Wrestlemania 3.

This is pretty much what I'm expecting in all honesty.Ā
