They speak in the grave tones of people confessing to some dreadful crime! Wrestlers of the kayfabe era seem to have this delusion that the vast majority of the audience didn't know it was a work. Journalists were exposing the business from the get-go, it was hardly some dark secret. 

I really want to see part 2 - that sounds much more interesting.

I'm with Otto on this, and Brewster. Fuck Orton's mrs being a trump fan, this is a find! Mind you being about wrestling pre 1995 and not WWF or WCW, there's not much interest on here. Probably needs more jpegs.

 

There would never be a part two though as ICW lost the war with Mempho even if All Star won their's against the Fullers* and everyone involved went on to make big money eslewhere. Bob Roop destroying trainees for Eddie Graham and hating doing it, Bob Orton Jr breaking his arm, Ronnie Garvin winning some belt, Ron Wright being one of the best promo men of the 90s pretending to be in a wheelchair. They all made this as damage control but no-one got blackballed.

It's Knoxville in 1979. So 1879 in our money. It'd have shocked them to the hilt. Jim Cornette would have died watching it.

Not surprising it comes from the Poffos, the feud they had with the legit Memphis territory sounds insane - guns being pulled, giving away results/spoilers before they made TV, real insanely heated stuff. Not surprised they'd have put something together to try and take the whole territory down with them if they had to.
