Keith Houchen
  First time I heard his music was on Cable Jukebox back in the 80s!  Learned quite a bit from Johnny.

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted July 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted July 24, 2019 Genuinely my favourite actor ever. Even in shite he was great, and like Raul Julia when he had the chance to chew the scenery and have fun it was a masterclass.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted July 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted July 24, 2019 Blind Fury's one of my favourites. Just a load of fun.  Oh, shit. I just realised I posted about Roy Batty's death in Blade Runner in the "Best Death Scene" thread. Spooky.

Loki
Split Second was one of my most watched VHS when I was a teenager. Â We're gonna need big guns! He was also ace in the film version of Fatherland, where he actually played a regular person for a change. Â He had some real acting chops. Gutted. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted July 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted July 24, 2019 Blade Runner is my favourite film and in no small part due to the performance of Rutger. Menacing, alien and cool as fuck.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted July 24, 2019 Wedlock, Nighthawks, Ladyhawke and Arctic Blue were all really fun films too. He made a bunch of enjoyable stuff and it's easy to forget he had a critically acclaimed career back home before he went to Hollywood. Might watch Wedlock tonight actually, it's been years. Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted July 25, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted July 25, 2019 Someone pointed out that 2019 is the year the first Bladerunner film is set, and so the year of Roy Batteys death.

She’s been Minnie’s voice for about 30 years. She even married the actor who voiced Mickey until his death. Never connected her name with the Simpsons. The makers of The Simpsons would be screwed if anything happened to, say, Harry Shearer or Hank Azaria, Heck they were almost cancelling the show when Harry Shearer was reluctant to re-sign a few years ago weren't they?
