He doesn't have any standout verses. No one cares if he's at any of the concerts. Not having that. He's like X-Pac and The Kliq.  Wasn't part of the curtain call so wasn't part. I think really I'm just more anti u-god than I am pro capadonna, now that I think about it...
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted December 23, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2018 Trans, by Neil Young. So different from his previous work, and also so different from how the album started out (as evidenced by the three straight acoustic rock tracks), it divided and alienated his fans, and caused the record company to sue him for recording something with no commercial potential. In retrospect, it was groundbreaking in its use of technology, and remains one of the most "human" robotic sounding albums.  On a proper geeky level, the Peavey T40 bass and T60 guitar. The design was a collaboration between Hartley Peavey and Chip Todd, a mechanical engineer, using CNC techniques not normally done with wood. This led to T40 and T60 being the first guitars cut to shape using a computer controlled jig. As it was only 1978, the massively technophobic guitarist community through their hands up in disgust and such an abomination. Because of this, I was able to buy my T40 in 2002 for a fucking bargain. Since then, attitudes have changed and the internet has made people aware of how great they are. They also cost a fair bit now.
