Paid Members tiger_rick Posted January 23, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 23, 2019 Had my annual watch of the Dangerous Alliance vs. Sting's Squadron Wargames from '92 last night. An outrageously good match. It dawned on me that Steve Austin had been in the business less than 3 years at that point and Dustin Rhodes, was still only 22, less than 4 years. Both guys are superb. They're in there with Steamboat, Windham, Arn, etc and don't look any less than polished vets. There are guys who've been working 10+ years who need the edges knocking off them to work at that level and these two are smooth as silk that early. And on that big a stage. Porkchopcash
Yeh Rhodes was phenomenal. So good so quick. The best match i ever saw live was Rhodes V Regal around 93 time. Seemed to lose a step since he took the Goldust gimmick in 95 though. I blame those black ears.
