David
So, everything crumbles and May resigns or something, and a General Election is called. Brexit hangs in the balance, who is best suited to take over? Who can grab this pile of shite by the scruff of the neck and make it work?
Moderators PowerButchi Posted December 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 12, 2018 I'd probably go with Plaid Cymru again. I think they're currently the only party with a proper socialist leader (even though he doesn't sit in the HoC). Or at least a socialist leader who's not roundly hated by his own parliamentary members.

Seems that every country in the UK not called England pretty much has its shit together.
Paid Members Chilly McFreeze Posted December 12, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 12, 2018 I'm in a marginal seat for the first time in my life, the current Tory MP Chloe Smith won by about 500 votes last time. And I'm a Labour member, so, yeah. Labour without question.

WyattSheepMask
Oh fucking hell David, I thought for a second that there actually had been a general election called. VoteLabour, but I live in a Tory stronghold so I’m swimming against it at the best of times

In terms of the election. I’m hugely torn. I’m in this really strange head space where I want Tories to win, purely so they take full blame and responsibility for the shit show that is Brexit. I’m currently hovering back around ‘anger’ in the 7 stages of grief. When I progress to ‘bargaining’ I’ll make an informed decision.
Max Power
Add me to the shit-myself-when-seeing-the-thread camp. I voted for Green in the last election, and still would now. Some really sensible policies, especially my local candidate. I reckon they'd do a lot better with a change of name, because many people (from round are way) just see them as a bunch of tree huggers and have never read their manifesto. Which is a shame.
