I watched "The Collector" last night for the first time. It was one of those films that I have been meaning to watch for years, but has just eluded me. I was really impressed and the "Collector" character had the creepiness that you would expect of a modern horror film. It had us really cringing at some of the torture porn elements too. But he's so charismatic and seductive you can totally understand how people are drawn to him and drink his blood from a wine bottle despite him being such a cunt. And then when he finally reveals his vampire nature he doesn't slowly and menacingly drink blood from a virgins neck, him and his boys literally rip people to pieces and dance in their dismembered corpses, drenched in blood while AC/DC plays in the background.
