Mr.Showtime
"Monster in the Bank" Braun Strowman is a modern one that pissed me off. Bleurrgh.
Paid Members BomberPat Posted October 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 Not a shit nickname, but Taz being "The Human Suplex Machine" always made me laugh as it implies the existence of an actual Suplex Machine.
Guest
We called him Undi in our primary school, where he'd often take on Yoko in one of the semicircular wrestling rings painted at each end of the playground.

I nearly hated Big Evil more though, because it was another example of big Mark fancying himself as "proper hard" like he could have done MMA. Cole referring to him as being "the best pure striker" took the piss as they had plenty of better punchers and better kickers at any given point in his run to date. 19 minutes ago, BomberPat said: Not a shit nickname, but Taz being "The Human Suplex Machine" always made me laugh as it implies the existence of an actual Suplex Machine. The one that bugged me was when the WWF changed it to Wrecking Machine. I understood Human Suplex Machine, it worked. Then he comes to the big man's fed and you want to call him THAT?? This wee fella isn't wrecking anyone. "Great White" for Sheamus, I thought was rubbish.

Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted October 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 "The extraordinary man who does extraordinary things" for Finn Balor is absolute shite. The fact they pronounce 'extraordinary' differently both times winds me up rotten. Ayatollah of Rock 'N' Rolla is garbage too.
Paid Members BomberPat Posted October 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 Ayatollah of Rock 'N' Rolla was a Mad Max 2 reference, at least. Wrestling has a long history of stealing shit from that movie.
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted October 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 Whisker biscuit for Goldberg courtesy of Jim Ross was absolutely abysmal, what a threatening name.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 5, 2018 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 Booger Red. Dear God, I'd long forgotten that. Awful. DDP calling Hulk Hogan "Hollywood Scum Hogan" and trying to get the crowd to chant the "Scum" part was always absolutely abysmal.
WyattSheepMask
Larry Zbyzko trying get ‘New World Odour’ over for the better part of a year was excruciating every time. More recent one is Tyler Bate going by ‘Big Strong Boi’, state of it

Don't have a problem with Undi at all. Seriously what the fuck even was that!? Used to annoy the piss out of me when JR said that. 'Ol' booger red!'. Fuck off! Sorry. Keith Houchen
Booger Red was a college footballer who was a ginger hardman, something like that. Given JRs love for college football, it comes from there. At least he didn't call him "Red Puppy Brick" or something like that. "The Man Gravity Forgot" is so shite. Just gives me visions of a man screaming as he floats off into space to die a painful death.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted October 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2018 I thought Big Evil was pretty shit tbh. I'm not sure King Kong Bundy's description as the "Walking Condominium" was very threatening either.

If anything, him and gravity are best mates as his aerial attacks utilize it so well. Can't do much damage without gravity forcing you back down to Earth, otherwise you'd fly off into space or perhaps you'd glide down slowly like in those moon levels in Super Mario Land 2.
