Paid Members Devon Malcolm 13,242 Posted September 7, 2018 Paid Members Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 These are a sensation. Absolutely brilliant for dunking as well, providing you like hot drinks, of course.
Paid Members Arch Stanton 894 Posted September 7, 2018 Paid Members Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 I was going to post those, they're my absolute favourites right now. You only get about eight in a packet though and they aren't cheap unless they're on special offer. My top tip is to try the Aldi rip off version for half the price!
Paid Members Devon Malcolm 13,242 Posted September 7, 2018 Paid Members Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 I've seen them in Poundstretcher for a quid on the odd occasion, but it's quite rare. Sometimes Asda has had them two for £2.
CAREBEAR LUVVA 224
Seeing "chunky" spelled like that on a packet would drive me insane every time I opened the cupboard, no matter how delicious its contents might be.

Paid Members Arch Stanton 894 Posted September 7, 2018 Paid Members Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 They're OK, but probably the world's most overrated biscuits.

Everyone I know that is crazy for them I assume are blissfully unaware of the existence of similar but better products. But they gained traction and now we all know people that adore them. The Prosecco of biscuits.
Moderators Chest Rockwell 7,276 Posted September 7, 2018 Moderators Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 That's a bit harsh on prosecco! Although I know exactly what you mean..
CAREBEAR LUVVA 224
The double stuffed mint flavoured ones are pretty great though...

Merzbow 3,139
This is going back a fair few years so I've no idea if they even sell them or if they're the same but ASDA own brand fake Penguin biscuits were lovely, I think they were called Puffins. I quite like the biscuity part of it but its the cream I'm not very fond of. Its got the false taste that a lot of American confectionery has. Definitely not a patch on our fantastic biscuits with filling.
