Dai Posted June 29, 2021 Share Posted June 29, 2021 I'd highly recommend watching the Alves fight. Shows you how good the bare knuckle thing can be. Violent, short and sweet rounds, both guys busted up within a few minutes. Great stuff. The Beltran and Lombard fights were enjoyable. The Lane fight was a cracker too, they busted up each other well. I'm with Ebb on the bare knuckle thing. Dipping into a handful of fights, with known names, every couple of months is something I'll carry on enjoying, and makes for a good alternative. A pretty good advert for what BKFC is all about, violent, fast paced, technical to a degree and you just find yourself sat there wondering how and why they put their selves through it. Its a brutal sport. The Lomard thing was a mess. The actual fight getting called a TKO was a joke, i think they should have just called it a no contest. The melee after came out of nowhere, guess you dont walk up on Hector Lombard whos a notorious loose cannon. Palomino/Goodjohn and Bostwick/Lane were good fights also. Missed the Beltran fight as i knew he'd won before i stuck it on. I skimmed the rest. I aint feeling this one like i did BKFC 18, its lacking notable names but they obviously are selling this on the PVZ factor, plus i havent watched a BKFC i havent enjoyed yet. Its a rematch, VanZant and Ostovich fought each other in the UFC which i have no recollection of but Paige won via second round arm bar. The woman who defeated Paige in her BKFC debut, Brittan Hart is also on the main card and obviously billed under Paige which is some bullshit, but i get it. Away from BKFC, but still bare knuckle, the GOAT himself Artem Lobov is fighting again this weekend for some promotion in Russia. She is an average fighter but some of the strengths she has, like subs and kicks she can't even use in this shit. Either against Valerie Loureda would get the Quagmire’s tuning in, baby wipes at the ready, as well. How was the fight? I’ve only seen little snippets on Twitter but it looked kind of fun if you’re expectations were realistic going in. They looked like they were going for it anyway. Paige didn’t take the loss well, did she? Has she got a legitimate gripe with the decision or is she just being a sulky baby?
