Spotted while having a browse on Wikipedia. I would have changed my name to Roy Jones too.

What are great names you have come across? My favourite in my friend circle is the mighty Asher von Hippel, a name I can only imagine his (German) Dad and (Indian) Mum designed after each being given half naming rights and deciding upon it entirely in isolation from each other.

Years back, I was bored in work and browsing the global email address list and came across a chap by the name of 'Megatron Bison'.

Mr M. Bison. Amazing.

I always wanted to email them just to enquire about it. I never did and they seemingly left the organisation a while later. Presumably to do something involving robots and combat.

My ex used to be a club and session singer, so a lot of her friends were in the same game and all had "stage names"(her's was "Vikki Leigh", until I met her and told her that was the name of a porn star, so she changed it sharpish!).

Well, one couple who were both entertainers had a little boy, who they named Tiger for some reason. When asked, they said his full name was Tiger J.J. Tavaro(her stage surname was Tavaro), which I thought was magnificent! Well, that was until you saw his actual legal name on his birth certificate was Tiger Joshua Jesus Huffington(their real surname)...

Also, my current Mrs' surname is "Beevers" and her brother wanted to call his newborn daughter Isla, that is until I made the observation "Isla Beevers" sounds like some exotic lesbian holiday destination.

I'm on the train at the moment so I can't find the YouTube link, but Russell Brand once did a bit on Ponderland about a department store Santa whose real name was Norbert Cleaverhook.
