On 4/13/2019 at 1:12 PM, ultimo the great said:

Heart of Midlothian 1-0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle (12:15pm)

I'm sure this was an honest guess, but I'm afraid the prediction is void since the match was already at half time (and goalless) when you posted that. Fair warning: if you pick that late this coming round, you'll miss 8 of the 20 matches. The following week you'd only miss one, but you're in the FPL Cup semi-final then and probably won't want to cede any advantage.

The poll is now closed and not everyone took the chance to vote. A significant minority want to move to bookmaker-style 'score after 90 minutes only' rules, but the consensus appears to be in favour of no change to the present scoring system.

As Rory noted, he got his D2D bet right and everyone else disagreed with him (even if some plumped for a draw rather than a completely wrong home win) so he gets a whole bunch of bonus points that move him clear of last place in the table. Without them, he'd have been joint worst performer alongside me yet again, and Vegeta would've been top scorer as the only participant into double figure. The only other player to get more than one exact score was Briefcase, who still leads by a solid dozen. The average score was a fairly high 9.08 this time out.

Away from the Lebanon, two wins for the visitors in the German matches proved fruitful, whilst a pair of easy victories for the favourites in the Scottish Cup also generally turned out good for at least one-pointers. Important triumphs in the title race for Man City and Liverpool on Sunday yielded at least a point for most too, but a rare success for Fulham, plus bad reverses for Wolves and Saints, were tougher to foresee.

This is being written up a day early because a new set of 20 is going into the opening post soon, including 6 Good Friday clashes.
