The results went into the original post on Sunday night and the table update was worked out soon after that. Grecian made the mistake of not backing the away side in the Birmingham derby, so the 7 other participants who disagreed with him – including those who wrongly bet on a home win – all get bonus points.

People seem to be dropping at a worrying rate, as not only did The Maestro not play again, Stinky Dad didn't either. He's not a newbie and he still has a Cup quarter-final and a second D2D to look forward to, so I hope this week was just an aberration on his part.

Of those who played, nobody managed to get into double figures and there was no outright top scorer. Worst performer was Glenryck, which means Briefcase was able to overtake him at the summit once again, whilst MVP RULZ draws level on points. The average haul was 6.67 with Rory (just below that figure on 6) closing the gap at the other end of the standings.

Neither one-sided scoreline in the German second tier yielded any three-pointers, but the comfortable win for Dortmund in the top flight proved more fruitful. Closer to home, victories for AFC Bournemouth and Leicester turned out quite well for most players, whereas triumphs for Arsenal, Cardiff and Saints caught a lot of pickers cold. A five-goal thriller at St James's Park ended up as a mixed bag, with the exact score in particular being elusive, but the result was good for some.

A new set of fixtures will be in the opening post shortly.
