So, we've now had the first FA Cup fifth round without replays... and all the ties are decided in 90 minutes anyway. Maybe next year with it being played in midweek all the matches will feel like replays to begin with. Those results and the outcomes from Italy went into the original post within minutes of the final whistle at the San Siro on Sunday evening, and the table was updated soon after that. All the favourites – bar possibly Lazio – won, and none of the scorelines was outrageous, so it's little surprise that the average score this time out was a whopping 10.1 points, which must be a record for an ordinary 10-match week since I've been calculating that stat. It's more than a point per game!

Joint worst performers Grecian and The Maestro (on a normally respectable score) sink to lower mid-table, whilst Rory closes the gap at the very bottom back to just 6 points. Top scorer Vegeta consolidates his place comfortably inside the top half of the standings, but Glenryck has had his lead cut massively by his two nearest challengers. Of those, MVP RULZ has actually overtaken Briefcase to once again drag himself up to second spot.

The D2D proved too much for ultimo as he was ultimately a bit too optimistic about Parma's chances in Sardinia. He slips a place and serves us a reminder that the current side have been out of the top flight for 4 season and are not like the team you remember from the 1990s. Eight of the other 13 participants rightly disagreed with him, but one of those actually went for an away win!

The other 8 matches all went the obvious way so there'd be little point in going through them individually. A more dynamic set of 10 games should be up in the opening post shortly.
