It's amazing Big Mick never became Celtic manager. Fans would be up in arms but he'd be perfect for the role. Him and Robbie Keane would do a brilliant job IMO.

Bayern rebuild ramped up yesterday. Agreed a deal for Luis Hernandez for 68 million quid. Think they've done Pavard too. Not fucking about.

The Hernandez (Lucas Hernandez btw /Fogdude) deal is mental. He's ok, certainly nothing special. He managed to get in the France squad last summer because of Mendy's fitness concerns and he's not even a regular at Atleti. Alaba is a better LB and Sule/Hummels are better CBs (Boateng is on his way out, apparently). Splashing £68m on him isn't going to make them world beaters.

Pavard on the other hand, could be an excellent signing- at £31m as well. I imagine this will allow Kimmich to continue his evolution into the second coming of Philip Lahm by playing in midfield. Bayern's groundwork for next season started over the past couple of years- Gnabry and Goretzka should be settled in now and should be key players for them for years to come. They will need to step up- they've placed too much reliance on old boys Ribery and Robben for years and Muller looks shot.

She may have done very very early on in his career and his amateur days but not when he was well known.  He used to design them with the kit suppliers to make them as garish as possible to put off the opposing strikers whilst including designs and colours from Acapulco.  The reason he David Byrne'd it was because he was only 5'7" and wanted to look bigger.
