That's a great shade of tea Rick.

I've been watching a lot of Alisson YouTube vids and the guy is insane. He's too handsome to be that crazy. He's literally got it all. The most encouraging thing is that last year he made zero errors that lead to goals. I've got a feeling he will have a clanger early doors but he comes across as the type of Keeper who just gets on with his shit anyway which is right up there as s desirable attribute in a GK.

Really impressed with the spine Klopp has built. Alisson, Virgil, Fabinho, Keita and Firmino is a hell of a base for our vanilla midgets to bounce off.

50m for Richarlison.

Genuinely reckon I'm worth about 7m in today's market.

Thankfully it's not 50 Branquey, the Echo have said Watford have accepted £35m, medical pencilled in for Monday, on another note we lost tonight on pens to Lille in the Algarve Cup with a largely shadow team, they will win the tournament unless we beat Porto by 3 tomorrow

That's not bad when you look at net spend.  Not bad at all.

Net spend schmet spend, thats the sort of shit Mo from ArsenalFan TV wanks over.

£142m of that was for Coutinho, and the rest are just squad players, so that's skewed.

I don't like getting all petty, but it's hilarious when you compare what he's spent with Pochettino in the same time frame, and what Poch has achieved versus what Klopp has.

Yet, all the papers and pundits bang on about how Spurs need to win trophies and Liverpool get let off a little bit. Quick maths tells me they've spent £250m this year alone. With that spending, and the team they have now, anything less than a trophy or a serious, serious tilt at the title has to be a massive failure.

It's weird isn't it? Almost as if most of the football writing world support Liverpool...

I don't really see this "Liverpool getting let off" not winning trophies. It certainly isn't the case from where I sit - but maybe that's the thing.

I'm sat up here in the north-west, where Liverpool's comparative lack of trophies is far more visible and far funnier while nobody really cares what Spurs are doing. The reverse may well be true for where you sit.

It's funny seeing a London based teams fan moaning about a northern bias in the press. The reason Poch gets a hard time is because he inherited a good side and made them a very good side that should be winning trophies and competing for titles. Kloppo took over a poor team and changed little by little whilst establishing us as a top 4 side again and getting to three cup finals. He's now got us in to a position where he will face a lot of flak if he doesn't move us on a level. Liverpool have come under more scrutiny for not winning a league title in the last 30 years than Spurs ever will.

Klopp took over a team that in two seasons prior came second in the league and had reached two semi finals. Poor? Nah.

And two seasons finishing fourth is hardly establishing Liverpool as a top 4 side. When you've played Champions League for 5 years consistent and are finishing higher than Arsenals position because Wenger lost it year after year, you'll be an established top 4 side.

Half of Fleet Street are Essex hacks that support Spurs or West Ham, so I don't buy that at all. Liverpool get a hell of a lot of stick for not winning trophies.

Let's be honest, both Klopp and Poch have done tremendously, but the whole 'Spurs need to win trophies' thing isn't entirely based on the fact that Spurs haven't won anything in a while in general, but more the fact that they may need to win something to keep their young squad.

At the end of the day the prospect of winning trophies is what drives footballers, how can it not? Sure, money plays a huge part these days, but ultimately they want to win shit. If these Spurs players, whom are probably hungrier than most to win silverware, go another season without winning anything AND without having their salary increased to anything close that they can get in today's market, the whole 'we're building something special here, we have a new stadium, be a part of it' bubble could burst next summer.

Liverpool need to win trophies sure, but I think higher on their agenda at the moment is to have a team that starts to challenge for trophies on a consistent level. If Klopp goes four full seasons without a trophy, then he'll absolutely be under the same pressure Poch is and Wenger was to remedy that.

On a side note, Poch is a little cuck bitch. He delivered a powerful statement at the end of the season, before he signed a new contract, uttering those words 'Spurs need to be brave and take risks'. It seemed like a bit of an ultimatum. Within two months he then signs a new deal, watches Zidane leave Real only to be replaced by a fairly unproven coach and then has to try to get excited about Spurs chasing the signature of Jack Graelish with no other obvious major signings incoming as it stands. Yeah, you sure told Levy didn't you mate. Spineless.
