Discounting that, Hamilton wasn't written by the man who used to be Graham Lineham. Very fair points @Gus Mears but you have to admit it's an unlikely breakout musical.  Anyone who thinks Count Arthur Strong is better than Black Books series 1 needs to have a strong word with themselves. The only thing that CAS is better than is a Big Cass promo.
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted October 8, 2018 Awards Moderator Share Posted October 8, 2018 On the subject of old sitcoms coming back as musicals, who’s ready for an Only Fools And Horses musical, coming to London next year? I got the following email this morning, so this is definitely a thing...
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted October 8, 2018 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2018 I like Paul Whitehouse and I also like Only Fools and Horses, despite that not being a particularly in vogue opinion around these parts. However, that sounds truly atrocious.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted October 8, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 8, 2018 I was worried there for a second Gus, but you saved it with your last sentence. I have no problem with people liking OFAH even though I think it's garbage but fans of cash in musicals can get fucked.

Am I the only one who thinks there is basically a 0% chance that we don't get 'Red Dwarf: The Musical' for this reason?
Mr_Danger
Feels like Paul Whitehouse should be doing better things than Aviva adverts and this shite.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2018 I'm still working on my production- 'Posse: A Scooter Musical'. I'm not gonna lie, trying to shoehorn songs such as How Much Is The Fish and Fuck The Millennium into my story is proving to be rather tricky. It's going to be bloody excellent though, a million times better than We Will Rock You and Mama Mia.

Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer's fishing programme has been one of the best TV shows this year.

He was in Ghost Stories and pretty good, by all accounts.

I once read an article that described Scooter as music for people who eat chips on Christmas day. I like to think the world would be a duller place without them. Anyone who calls themselves 'the chicks terminator' is alright, in my book.

Guest
A massive waste of time anyway, but I bet they won't even be able to sing "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?" and "One Voice."
Paid Members gmoney Posted October 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2018 I still await Rhys Thomas and Tony Way's Chas and Dave musical about a snooker tournament.
