Paid Members Carbomb Posted March 25, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted March 25, 2018 EDIT: Forgot to mention - I think @Frankie Crisp and @Chilly McFreeze would like the Scarlet Party track above - a big part of how they were marketed was how much like John Lennon the lead singer sounded. They ended up being only two-hit wonders - their other hit being "Eyes of Ice" - but 101 Damnations is definitely worth a listen. Â

Paid Members Carbomb Posted March 26, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted March 26, 2018 Here's an odd one. Nobody ever remembers Toto Coelo, but they were one of the earliest attempts at making a pop girl-group. They were marketed in the US as "Total Coelo" so as to avoid confusion with Toto, and they never really took off apart from a few hits. To be fair, in hindsight it seems they didn't know what direction to take them, as they had a bunch of pretty women doing some weird stuff played for laughs. Still, this song gets right in your head: Â
