Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 16, 2018 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 16, 2018 Every year brings new wrestlers to get excited about - whether they're new acts, get a new gimmick, get signed to a new promotion or just get a proper push - and if all goes well, new stars are made. Last year, for example, Velveteen Dream went from nobody to star, Aleister Black became an NXT stalwart, Andrade Almas found his groove, Braun Strowman became a fully fledged main eventer, Jinder Mahal went from jobber to WWE Champion quicker than anyone ever has, Pete Dunne became a standout of the UK division, Neville found new dimensions and depths to his act, Alexa Bliss flourished as the top woman on Raw, and so on and so on. Who do you think will step up, or get the chance to step up, in 2018? Who'll make the most of things and become one of our favourites by year's end? I'm really hoping this'll be Luke Harper's year. But more likely I think we'll see Lars Sullivan move onto the main roster and get himself to that mid-upper card level sooner rather than later.
