UK Kat Von D
I actually decided a month ago I was going to get into cryptocurrency, and messaged a mate “in the know” telling him I was going to get £500 worth of Ripple. He told me not to bother and we discussed it for a few days. I took his advice and didn’t follow up on it. Now I’m pretty much just sending him abuse for his shit advice every other day. A month ago they were valued at 20cents each or something. Now they are like $3 (I think)

Paid Members Thunderplex Posted January 7, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 7, 2018 Boydy is innocent. Â The 16 year old in question. Was standing on her hands as he put his head on her shoulder. Â Due to the law of gravity, the tit popped out of the bra and slapped Boydy on the head. Â If anything, he was assaulted. Â Shame on you all.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted January 7, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 7, 2018 You'd surely have to be careful you didn't inadvertently change the course of history with your time travelling bitcoin investment. Try and get hold of some old fivers for a start so they don't wonder what the hell you're doing with these weird plastic notes with the holes in. And leave your sports almanacs here in the present as well... You could just go back a couple of years and stick a bet on Leicester to win the League... Sphinx
How easy is it to sell a decent amount of cryptocurrency? Say I bought £500 worth and the value increased to a level I was happy with, would it be easy enough to sell in one go whilst the value is still high? I'm not planning on investing in it just yet as I'd need to learn more about it and see how much disposable money I have to try it with, but it'd be handy to know for the future. Sphinx
Where would be a good site to sell it? I've bought from LocalBitCoins and Bittylicious before but I'm not too clued up on it.
Polish Dad
My housemate has made a job out of this, with crypto assets now totalling over $500,000. A good move if you're unsure about the infrastructure or process is to go with CFD's. The way he does this is on Etoro.com, where he's a popular investor. They only host CFD's for the biggest/most stable crypto's, so you're less likely to get screwed over by a shitcoin, and because it's a CFD, it's easy to put money in & take it out. They also do most major stocks, if you wanted to get into that side of things. The best feature of the site (to someone like me, anyway) is that you can set any amount of your money to be 'copying' someone, so it mirrors their trades. My housemates account is jaynemesis, and he now has $35million of other people's money set to copy his trades. It's definitely an easy way to get your foot in the door (I started a couple of years ago, and just £200 turned into a nice holiday in the space of six months). Paid Members Carbomb Posted January 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 8, 2018 I have to say, CFDs would've been the last thing I'd recommend to anyone unsure about anything to do with market investment. Every professional I've spoken to about them says you need to know what you're doing with them for stocks, shares, and forex, otherwise you could lose your arse. But cryptocurrency is such a new and unprecedented thing, maybe the system built around them makes it a bit less risky for CFDs. Still wouldn't touch them though. UK Kat Von D
I think the key thing to cryptocurrency right now is to not put any money in which you are willing to lose. Keep it in the same mentality as gambling, where you are fully aware you could walk away with nothing. If you have a spare couple of hundred quid knocking about then go for it, but don’t remortgage your house while hoping for the best. My plan is to stick a £100-£200 a week on random alt coins which I have a good feeling about. Buy them low and hope they catch on. I’ve had a gambling problem for quite a while now and usually put that much on the football every week (I don’t even watch the stupid game, I just like gambling.) So I’ve deleted SkyBet off my phone and that money is just going into the crypto pot now
