deadmaninc
Does anyone know who injured Austin in 1995. The injury was a torn tricep muscle after a botched cross body but who caused it ?
Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted December 25, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted December 25, 2017 He caused it. He got pissed the night before, tried to cross body off the top, his opponent moved, he landed funny. No idea who the opponent was, even Austin doesn’t seem to remember. No obvious review online either. You will need to hunt down the results of the tour. July 3rd 95 I believe. Someone like Lister might have a better idea. deadmaninc
It's either Akira Nogami, Junji Hirata & Takayuki Iizuka going by Austin's book
RancidPunx
Did Austin have any great/decent matches in wcw in 1995?
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted December 27, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted December 27, 2017 He had a pretty good TV match with Sting around that time; There was a tag match on Worldwide with Austin and Arn Anderson vs Johnny B Badd and Alex Wright that I recall being surprisingly fun as well. And while more of a 'squash' than a 'match' there's this; One of Austin's last matches in WCW. Like I said, a total squash but it's Randy Savage vs Steve Austin. Don't think these two ever faced off before or after this match. Certainly not televised anyway. You could tell though, even in the Sting match there, that Austin wasn't really motivated and was mostly going through the motions in 95. He was bumping like a madman when he got to the WWF in early 96. Even working Savio Vega and Fatu and guys like that, he looked more into it than this. I think by late 94/95 Austin was sick of WCW. And he'd know there was no way he was getting any higher once Hogan came in anyway.
