Fog Dude
The results went into the original post on Sunday night, and the table was worked out shortly thereafter. An updated link and a new set of fixtures will follow there shortly. What went wrong this time out, fellas? This was an unremarkable card with only one truly crazy scoreline, and yet it's produced an average score of just 3.4 points, which is the lowest I can remember. Rory somehow managed in those circumstances to still be joint top scorer and extend his lead back to 12 points, whilst the only movement was among the bottom 4, with fellow best performer Vegeta the beneficiary. Briefcase and Glenryck also bagged one correct scoreline apiece, with the former moving up a place to seventh. Obviously nobody quite managed the exact scores from Wembley or Goodison Park, and the outcome at Huddersfield was this round's coupon-buster, but the poor guesswork elsewhere is borderline inexcusable. A single goal at Newcastle was responsible for two three-pointers, with the other caused by a sacked manager bounce for the Foxes. Two away wins in the second tier caught most participants out, as did those at the Liberty and Bet365 stadia. A score draw and another narrow home victory in France proved difficult to foresee as well.

Fog Dude
The results went into the opening post on Sunday night, and a link the the updated table will follow along with the next set of matches shortly. The average score was back up to a respectable 8.1 points this time out, but still nobody got more than one exact score. Glenryck actually managed to get his D2D right, aided by a rare bit of good form that Middlesbrough have suddenly stumbled upon since the defeat at Bournemouth a week ago. Seven of nine other participants disagreed with him, granting him 14 bonuses and catapulting him into second place just 6 points behind Rory. Even without those he'd have been joint top scorer along with said leader and Briefcase. Vegeta was the round's worst performer and sinks to last place, one point behind Stinky. Elsewhere, narrow away wins for Chelsea and Man City were generally good for one-pointers, but the same outcome for Stoke caught most people out. Slightly more comfortable victories on the road for Arsenal and Liverpool in WS1 proved fruitful, as did a stalemate in the Birmingham derby. A late score draw rescued for Palace by Wilfried Zaha caused more of a mixed bag of guesses, whilst an easy victory for the home side in the Baden-Württemberg derby turned out to be difficult to foresee. Lastly, a third derby of the weekend – that of the Rhine – just about led to more correct picks than bad ones.
