On 3/31/2018 at 12:02 PM, ultimo the great said:

fucking good friday!

Hey, as I said in the blurb, I went easy on you late pickers this year! In previous seasons if you forgot about Easter you'd have missed 6-8 fixtures, but this time you only missed 2.

Anyway, the results are all in the opening post now and the table has been updated. There was no movement despite an average score of 14.6 points, but TildeGuy's lead is down to 1 points and Stinky has also closed the gap to 9th place. Despite it being April, we still managed to lose a game to the weather, whereas while it was still March we finally succeeded in getting Everton's D2D turn done at the third attempt (all within the same month). Briefcase bet on a Man City win – which is within the rules of Dare 2 Disagree, but not really in keeping with the spirit – but I can't begrudge him it given all the disruption. Trouble is, most people correctly plumped for an away win as well, so he only took home 4 bonuses.

Unusually, Briefcase would've been the top scorer even without those extra points, whilst ultimo and Stinky both avoided being the worst performer as Vegeta could only just about muster double figures. The most productive match was, perhaps unexpectedly, The Posh's 2-0 victory over local-rivals-of-sorts Northampton yesterday, which put paid to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's hopes of continued employment. Two score draws in Scotland plus triumphs for Liverpool, Newcastle, Torquay, Hartlepool, Vancouver, PSG, Arsenal, Oldham and Luton all proved fruitful.

Spurs' much-publicised first win at Stamford Bridge in 28 years caught some participants out, whilst the outcomes at the London Stadium, Loftus Road, The Stadium of Light and Broadhall Way all turned out to be trickier to foresee. Lastly, nobody guessed the exact scoreline from the new LA derby (somewhat dubiously dubbed 'El Tráfico') but you can hardly blame Zlatan for sticking to his own script.

Right, after a few funny rounds, we're back to a normal schedule until the final week, starting with the next set of 10 in the original post in a few minutes...
