Come off it, you've been playing long enough to know you can't hedge your bets like that. Fair enough if that's what you think will happen – go and put some money on it or post something about it in the main football thread, in that case. I'm going to read this as a prediction of a 2-1 Man City win and treat it accordingly. Anyway, onto my own (legitimate) picks...

Ha. To be fair I wasn't sure how it worked with Extra time.

Well, this is why we don't feature one-off cup ties very often! In the blurb in the opening post I put the reminder "the rules for one-off knockout ties: we'll ignore any penalty shootout at Wembley, but not extra time". There's a more long-winded explanation of the rules, but I didn't think I'd need to bother this time. If you think City will win 2-1 after extra time, put that down and you still get 3 points even if they win by that score in 90. If you put down 1-1 and it finishes 2-1 after 120 minutes, you get 0 points. This allows a draw as an option while acknowledging that it's less likely in a straight knockout game. It's not something Sephjnr ever put much thought into when he ran this competition, as far as I can tell.

You are of course free to edit your earlier post before Saturday afternoon.

The results went into the opening post on Sunday night, and the table was worked out soon after that too. The average score was only 6 points this time out and nobody made it into double figures, so there was little movement. Lowest scorer Rory and absentee Grecian were the only players to move down a place. TildeGuy was cautious in backing his second-choice team to draw at Colchester, but he'd have cleaned up had he bet on them to pull off an unlikely win. Seven of the eight other participants this week instead collected a brace of bonuses each, with the exception being Glenryck, who still leads regardless. Stinky Dad remains well adrift at the bottom.

Away from Essex, an easy home victory for PSG proved fruitful, but a draw in the remaining French derby caught most people out. Closer to home, nobody managed to get the exact scoreline in the six-goal thriller on Wearside, whereas a success for Man City turned out to be relatively simple to foresee for the majority. Triumphs for Brighton, Man United and Huddersfield ended up tougher to guess beforehand. The score draw at Turf Moor, meanwhile, yielded more points than the one at Dean Court.

A new set of 10 will be in the opening post very soon.

All the games listed below are currently on despite the weather, but I'll continue to monitor the situation. If a second D2D match is postponed this season, then that's just poor scheduling on my part. The scores for the Scottish ties will still count as long as they're successfully played by next midweek.
