Fog Dude
Yeah, so I messed up this week. Or at least, the weather did. We can just about squeeze in a second attempt at my first-choice D2D later in the season, but if there are any further delays then it's my fault and I'll have to give myself a points deduction instead of trying to find another new date. Anyway, the 8 results we got went into the opening post on Sunday night, and the updated table was calculated soon after that. The average score was 4.8 points, which is low even considering that it was out of a maximum possible 24 points instead of 30. Joint top scorer Vegeta moved further away from danger to leave me only 9 points ahead of Stinky. His fellow equal best performers Glenryck and TildeGuy closed the gap on Rory by 2 points to just 4. Two away wins in Spain proved fruitful, as did score draws at Selhurst Park and St Mary's. The same outcome at Anfield and Easter Road after dramatic late twists produced more of a mixed bag of guesses. A home reverse in the Manchester derby ended up yielding its fair share of one-pointers, whilst a narrow defeat for Alan Pardew's Baggies turned out to be easier to foresee than most. Next week's fixtures will be up in the original post shortly. With any luck none of them will fall to inclement conditions this time!
