Paid Members Tommy! Posted February 4, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 4, 2017 To be fair the fighting should take place in the ring.
Ambulance Chaser
I liked Bret's strange use of 'the' before words  On the subject of verbage, "The" WCW always bugged me.
Jon-Carr_92
Not sure anyone's mentioned this. But Ladder Matches when as Christian Maracle puts it (he does WWE Sins on YouTube, worth a watch.) Trust me. You won't watch their PPVs in the same way and you'll be calling out his recurring ones. He calls this the "First ladder introduced is too small to reach the prize cliché"
The King Of Swing
Bump time. Â Wrestlers doing that "wiping their feet" motion before stepping through the ropes annoys me. Who started that shit? Â Taz in ECW is the earliest I can recall. Maybe it was him. Â It's shit.

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted March 7, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted March 7, 2017 Regal was the first I noticed doing it. Always assumed it was because he'd wrestled in Blackpool and liked to wipe away the 486 STDs you find on every nightclub floor before he got in the ring. Â Ring mats were manky before. Go back and watch well lit shows from the early 2000s. Absolutely disgusting. Blood, sweat, spit and god knows what else. No wonder Vince is obsessed with changing them now. Paid Members Rob Lowe Posted March 7, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted March 7, 2017 Makes perfect sense to me. People must carry grit and shit from the backstage floors into the ring. I wouldn't want to roll around in it, I'd make it mandatory.
moofasa
This is why. Goes way back to god knows when. It's also seen as a sign of respect by some veterans. Respectful like wiping your feet before going into someones house. I like it. Razor Ramon always did it.
WyattSheepMask
Why do wrestlers watch TVs at such weird angles?

Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted March 7, 2017 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 7, 2017 Botchamania has a whole album on Facebook devoted to wrestlers watching telly wrong. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted March 7, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted March 7, 2017 The wobbly zoomy camera angles. This for me. When did that start? I stopped watching wrestling obsessively in probably about 2009 and I don't remember it then. But whenever I do tune in now it's something I always notice that bugs me. Even when it's something I'm really enjoying, I find the wobbly camera and the zooming in on impact of moves jarring to watch and it takes me out of the moment. Why did they even start doing it? Looks shite.
NoUseforaUsername
I don't watch a lot of wrestling anymore but one thing that annoys me is the constant overacting by referees. They weren't always like this, were they? Overreacting to every move and constant admonitions to heel wrestlers. Just blend into the background ffs.
