DJM
How does the putting together of a Lesnar match work? I remember reading that Undertaker met with Lesnar at or near his home to work through what they were going to do in one of their matches beforehand, but would Goldberg do the same? Paid Members Lenin Posted October 29, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 29, 2016 Was that not because Taker was injured and they wanted to make sure the quality was OK while not killing him? I'm sure Bill would be OK.
zep81
I'n Lesnar's current mind; So i do "Suplex, Suplex, Suplex, erm...................oh Suplex, then Su................F5!!!" Â Gotcha. Goldberg is going to bring it i'm sure, i hope Lesnar is up for a big brawl and a change from the norm TBH. This match calls for it and Lesnar is still a beast that is capable of doing anything. JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
I think Goldberg looks far to skinny  People want to see 98 290lb monster Goldberg, not 260 Muay Thai copier Goldberg  I'm worried that Lesnar is going to completely embarrass him
DavidB6937
Goldberg looks the business. Certainly not 'too skinny' at all.
Ian 86
sweaty but definitely not skinny
WyattSheepMask
JRPO, you mean you want to see 98 290lbs monster Goldberg. Everyone else has more realistic expectations  No-one was expecting Goldberg to still be in the same shape he was nearly 20 years ago
JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
TBH if he's not going to come back and be Goldberg what's the point?  Y not expect him to be close to the same?  Hogan came back in 02 ages 48 after a far longer career and injuries and looked great.  Nash is mid fifties and looks better than ever?  Even Sid looked great on Return aged 50 odd  Not saying Goldberg looks bad but I don't think it's wrong to want him to look like a credible threat to Brock. Paid Members tiger_rick Posted November 3, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 3, 2016 TBH if he's not going to come back and be Goldberg what's the point? Â He just came back and cut a promo a billion times better than he ever has before. Who gives a fuck if his look is realistic for his age?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 3, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 3, 2016 He looks fucking tremendous from what I can tell. Of course he's not going to look the same as he did nearly twenty years ago, that's a given. He still looks like he could fuck up 90% of the main roster though. Guest
He looks great. He's got the body language down to such a great degree it wouldn't matter that much anyway if he didn't. That segment with Rusev, and Goldberg is just pacing, following Rusev's every step - staying directly in his line of vision at all times. He comes off as a total badass and no doubt will at Survivor Series too. FWIW, I always just saw 02-05 WWE Hogan as an old bloke who shouldn't be beating the "current" wrestlers, even if he was ripped
WyattSheepMask
Plus Hogan wasn't 12 years out of the business at that time. Yeah he was the back end of his 40s but he'd been gone less than 2 years after walking out of WCW in 2000
Paid Members GlennCullen Posted November 4, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 4, 2016 I just enjoy the fact that he's describing a 6'2, 260 pound man as 'skinny'.
JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
 Skinny for Goldberg! Not in general  To me just takes away from that 'monster' presence!  Remember in 93 when Hogan came back weighing 30lbs lighter! He got by on charisma and the fact it was him but he didn't look right posing at that weight and that was to a 12 yr old.  Yes it is a great promo he did and I was impressed with it, I just don't want my last memories of Goldberg to be him getting ragdolled by Lesnar  Same as I'm gutted Stings last run went as it did. Merzbow
I gotta say "skinny" Hogan in WCW lost a lot of his lustre due to his size, to me anyway. I'm sure Goldie will be fine though, he looks too much of a grizzled tough bastard.
