The correct answer is Tino Sabbatelli at #30 in the rumble. A man cut from stone and looks like an Adonis to go onto headline wrestlemania 33 obvs!

He's just what the main roster needs a legit God like physique and legit athletic background.

Imagine it now, Strowman vs Sabbatelli for the Universal title headlining the grandest stage of them all = $$$$$$$$

Nakamura at the Rumble please. And when he does his Matrix rope pose on entrance, have some cunt charge him, Naks pulls the rope down as he's posing and the cint charging him goes over the top.

I want the count down to finish, arena blacks out, darkness is broken by a red spotlight shining on the entrance way to show a suited and booted young man with his head down. He simultaenously raises his head with a smirk and reveals a violin from behind his back. Everyone clocks it's the lad from Nak's Brooklyn entrance. He starts playing, everyone loses their mind. Nak comes out and wins the fucking Rumble because why not.

Please.

Having someone from NXT win the Rumble is a great idea. They could have done it with Balor, they were obviously happy to put him straight to the top. Nakamura is easily the best option now. In the meantime Lesnar has won the title again....it goes from there!

Having a debutant from NXT win the Royal Rumble and earn a WrestleMania title shot isn't the worst idea I've heard.

The very nature of WrestleMania these days is that there are multiple 'main event' attraction matches to sell the show, and with 2 main championships available they're not depending on a single World Title match with an unknown risky new dude with an unproven track record as being the central hook of the show.

Having a brand new call-up coming out and winning the Rumble could make a big new star in one night. The Balor thing this summer shows they're not opposed to this way of thinking anymore.

A debut that wins the 'Rumble sounds incredible. It's also one of those logical factoids WWE will eventually pull off just to have it in history.

A Shield reunuion next year could also be serious rehab. You want Roman to go full badass? Have him steel chair the face off the other two not long after the reunuion, cut a promo about how he doesn't need them jerks and stuff.

This is sort of a tie in with the Brock/Goldberg discussion in the other thread, but if Lesnar goes over Brock at Survivors, I'd put the Universal Belt on him. Then if you want you could have Joe or Nakamura debut and win the Rumble, challenge and beat Lesnar at Mania. They'd be coming in strong because they haven't spent 6 months 50/50 booking them before expecting them to challenge Lesnar. That way you could get rematches down the line as you could put it accross as Lesnar took the other guy for granted because he was a "newbie", and won't do so again etc.

Plus, it actually gives credibility to the 'anyone can win it' tagline they love to throw about, which clearly isn't true, as it's actually 'anyone that is wrestling in the main events can win it'. They had a chance to remedy that with a Santino win years ago, but went for Del Rio instead.
