Paid Members Supremo Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 I think the best route for everyone involved would be a full babyface turn for Seth and a full heel turn for Roman. Genuinely, a dickhead Roman would be my first choice for the next long-term Title reign. The potential in him finally telling all the fans to suck his dick feels limitless. You can already tell he'd have the time of his life. Â Just when I thought you couldn't get worse than the, " You Deserve It!" chants, those mongs start chanting for CM Punk during the Reigns vs. Rusev match. I'd love to ask any one of them what the point of chanting for Punk was at this point. It was lame enough before he got absolutely murdered the other week. Now it's a new level of embarrassing. I don't think I've ever disliked the majority of fans as much as I do these days. I honestly preferred them when they were just smelly virgins. This new breed of, "smart," entitled dickheads is the absolute worst.

Paid Members Supremo Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 I think enough time has passed that someone can call it now; Anderson and Gallows are the next installment of supposedly-dead-good-in-Japan-but-actually-a-bit-crap talent. They're the Tensai of tag teams. What little I saw of them when they were in Japan, mainly in that Finn Balor documentary, they don't even have that cool, confident factor they seemingly possessed back then. They're just really average.
Winston
"The Tensai of Tag Teams" !  Absolutely spot on there, Supremo. Literally bored me to tears since day one and they look terrible too. The Revival are everything The Club wish they were. So far superior.  Really bored of The New Day too now though, the Raw tag division is the absolute pits. Could be doing with a few additions from NXT to beef it up.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 26, 2016 Author Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 Maybe just me but I'd have this Sheamus and Cesaro never ending series turn into them seriously respecting each other and forming a tag team. They're both big, tough bastards but pretty worthless as singles at this point. I think they'd work well together. As long as there was no naff nationality aspect to it. Just two big bruisers who like a fight.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 Karl Anderson's the least interesting man on earth. Its weird, because he seems really fun in real life, but super shit onscreen. He's got the generic bald bloke persona down to an art. Â Also, in fairness, Anderson and Gallows were considered really shit as a tag team in New Japan. The gimmick was stronger than what they did in the ring. Paid Members Supremo Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 Having now seen the main event, I'm even more baffled as to what they're doing with Seth Rollins. Leading into the match, I figured there must've been a reason as to why they've not fully turned him. Turns out the reason is bad writing. He actually reminds me of a guy from my mate's school. He was known as the, "lad who got his mates kicked out of his face." He was this big bully, a complete prick, with loads of mates. He essentially ran the school. You know the type. One day though, he picked on the wrong guy, a prick of equal measure, who proceeded to beat the shit out of him, ending with a swift boot to the face. From that day onwards, his mates just sort of abandoned him, and he walked around on his own, like a shadowy, ghost version of what he used to be. That's Seth Rollins now. He's still the prick he's always been, having done nothing to endear himself, or make you think he's a changed man. He's just come up against another prick, with more friends to back him up. It's the least sympathetic role imaginable. The only reason he isn't winning is because Kevin Owens has friends, whereas he doesn't. You can't even assume that he's the good guy because he does suicide dives, because everyone does. So weird.
NEWM
Rollins could be cursed by the "You're a babyface because a fellow heel turned on you" thing as well. It always worked out okay for Sting, but most of the time, and especially in WWE, fans don't gravitate to the loser who now wants your love because his dick mates fucked him off. Randy Orton and Evolution is the most glaring example, and The Rock and the Coroporation is the typically Rock-like exception to the rule, but generally it gets the face off on the back foot and a series of "I'm not a total babyface...yet" run-ins won't do much to fix it. Â That Reigns Steel Cage thing was brilliant in theory, but probably just a couple of weeks late. It's also on it's arse because Rollins is going against the wishes of Foley the reasonable man, rather than a heel authority. Foley's not the system Rollins is supposed to be smashing. Â The best shot he's got at this point is a proper fucking shoeing from a gaggle of heels, where he just doesn't give in fighting until they've left him for dead, followed by a surprise return a few weeks down the line to really fuck up whatever the bad guys or Authority are after doing. Actually, what they did with Sting twice against Rollins at Survivor Series and underneath the statue blanket. Let the fans want him to save the day, regardless of his personal motivations. Paid Members gadge Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 I thought Owens vs Rollins suffered because the crowd were waiting for Triple H to show up. Jericho running in was a poor substitute, really, nothing against his performance in that spot though. As for Sami not showing up, why should Rollins have any friends? He's been a dick for most of his run, except the period where the Shield were everyone's favourites.

Love-Wilcox
Despite not really liking them in Japan, I quite like Anderson and Gallows in the WWE so far and last night was the best they've looked so far (naff finish excluded). If the booking team can keep making them look like badass bruisers and not a comedy act I'd like to see them in WWE for a good while longer. Paid Members gadge Posted September 26, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 The finish to New Day vs Gallows and Anderson was exactly the same as at the London house show the other week. They obviously like it.

UK Kat Von D
I honestly preferred them when they were just smelly virgins. A few of them still watch wrestling, but they mostly spend all their time moaning about how you need a certain number of Internet points to get over
