Reigns and Rusev was great as we knew it'd be. Kicking Lana out in KOTR 1993 final style gave the finish away. The finish got a decent reaction too - then some boos. Cole mentioned the mixed crowd support for Reigns on commentary so it seems like they're just gonna keep going with it. Very uninteresting.

The crowd were much quieter for the main event and sat down for most of it. The action was decent but I think the weird dynamic with Rollins weak face turn didn't help it. Didn't like the level of interference. Ridiculous in kayfabe. Although that maybe builds tension between Rollins and Steph.

Zayn & Jericho was really good. Bit clunky in a couple of places but a sweet match. Holy fuck though, does Sami need to get away from Kevin Owens. The commentators have fuck all to say about him that doesn't involve Owens. He needed to go to SD in the draft. Still, delivered a cracking match. Jericho is incredible for his age. Didn't like the finish though. You shouldn't be scraping your way out of someone's finisher only to get up and hit your own. Takes me out of it.

Enjoyed Perkins and Kendrick too. Liked that it was submission heavy. Different to a lot of the usual stuff. Perkins entrace video and music is great. Love the video game character come to life gimmick. The commentary was interesting during this match because they had so much to say about each guy. Its naff that that's the only way they get it across these days though.

Liked the post-match stuff. Kept Kendrick a heel and said this story isn't told yet.

The women's triple threat was formulaic but very good. I've seen the three in better matches but not many.

Sheamus/Cesaro in a 7th (or 9th) match and there's no finish. Dear lord. Didn't think the bump looked good enough to tell the story either. They looked like pussies.

The New Day were over like the Outlaws in '98. Mental. The wankers will boo Reigns but cheer this unfunny shite. It was a good crowd though. They were into everything and helped the show feel more big time than it was built to be.

They'll likely both get cheered by the "You Deserve It! This is Wrestling!" people, but can anyone remember a pay per view main event where both guys were both so scripted to act like heels? If we took the show on face value, I have absolutely no idea who I'd supposed to be rooting for.

I thought that about the build up to Reigns/Rusev.

For no apparent reason the baby face comes out to destroy a wedding celebration.

Then in what should have been a match tries to injury the bloke and leads to a no contest.

Then last night he's winking at the opponents wife mid match.

I still cannot get my head around the company not having Rusev as their top heel. If they can't recognise to this day the experiment is dormant and that Rusev is ready made then it's totally stupid what they're doing. Continue on with the lost hope and see the reactions right in front of you.

Owens and Rollins looked lost out there I thought. They were superb, but they just won't allow them to truly be themselves. So now we're getting the Tyler Black persona. Make your mind up guys which Seth is it?

Did anyone expect the match to continue with Cesaro and Sheamus once he hit the floor, christ that was horrible. They let it go too long thereafter that caused confusion once they got over the barricades.

The Crusierweight match I felt bad for. There was no chemistry and moments looked flunked. It was as if Hunter had got to them

There are posters on Reddit suggesting a Cesaro/Sheamus Ironman match next. Some people are insane.

That's fucking sick in the head.

Imagine if they re-booted the utterly dull Bret VS Shawn match, 0-0 after 60 mins going into overtime? They should be hung for treason in that event.

First post on here so go easy!

This show was not as good as I thought it would be!

Enjoyed the Club in the opening match, first time I have, they seemed more intense then in previous showings.

Pissed off with Zayn losing clean to Jericho....whilst i'm loving Jericho's work right now, I believe that Sami could be the lead face on Raw, in a Daniel Bryan kind of way.

I just don't see Seth as a face, and find no reason to cheer for him! I thought his tittle run was boring, and im glad they are going with Kevin Owens.

Overall a predictable show with no real highlights! A shame as I think the PPV's have been good this year.

Much preferred SmackDown's Backlash to this effort from RAW at Clash of Champions. Just found it an all round poor show.

New Day retained. Another celebration tonight on RAW for day 400 of their title reign. Due to the way the match ended, we're probably gonna get another dose of this tedious feud at Hell in a Cell. Hopefully, though, Gallows and Anderson will stop trying to do the comedy angle and instead just go round kicking shit out people on the way. Not that it'll matter because New Day will be champions right through until December when they break Demolition's record as the longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history.

Cruiserweight match was good and they're keeping certain aspects from the Cruiserweight Classic which is a good sign. Handshake before the match, even though Kendrick refused, and the purple colour scheme. Kendrick is a full on heel now rather than a man that desperate for one last shot at glory that he'll do anything to win. TJP is still boss. The next step is to make the feud compelling without neglecting the rest of the division.

Cesaro and Sheamus ended in a not-to-different manner to how I predicted a couple of weeks back;

Cesaro and Sheamus are still going at it, Cesaro is still wearing his dodgy tape on both shoulder and back. Sheamus can beat a fully healthy Cesaro three times, but Cesaro with a dodgy back can now beat Sheamus. It's going the full seven matches! And knowing WWE, they'll probably have the seventh match end in a double count-out at Clash of Champions so we can a definitive answer inside Hell in a Cell (RAW's next brand only ppv)

I thought the Jericho and Zayn match disappointed. It was sloppy in parts and the whole match centred around Kevin Owens. Even Sami's part on the kickoff show where he was answering the twitter questions, all revolved around KO.

The womens match was ok and probably the best match on the night but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. I'm guessing we now get Sasha and Charlotte in a one-on-one match while Bayley is left poncing around with Nia Jax. And given how much they've built Jax up, it's hard to imagine Bayley getting a win there either.

I didn't really like Reigns winning the US Title. I thought Rusev has done a great job as champ and given how much of a bitch he's been made to look like during the entirety of this feud, he really deserved to win this one. Reigns ruins Rusev and Lana's wedding ceremony on RAW. Reigns absolutely slaughters Rusev before the match can even start at SummerSlam. Reigns then makes Rusev retreat during a match on RAW. Even after a cage match, Roman gets the upper hand on Rusev and the Bulgarian only gets some offence in when Owens helps him. And then last night. While Rusev got some offence in this time, he still ultimately lost. So everything he's been put through and gets no retribution at all. Although after every other champion previously had retained and it was unlikely that Owens would lose the Universal Title so soon after winning it, it was obvious that Reigns would win the US Title.

Owens and Rollins was terrible. Although the closing of the show with Jericho singing "we are the champions" was my highlight of the entire night.

I like the presentation of the Cruiserweights, changing the colour of the ropes and keeping with the handshake tradition. I also think that between his retro-gaming entrance and his dabbing that TJ Perkins is already more relevant and contemporary than almost anyone else on the roster. The match just didn't click though. Both guys seemed super nervous, like the moment was getting to them, there were a handful of clunky moments, and it never really left third gear.

I don't know if they were told to tone it down or not, but I was really hoping for a match similar to what we were seeing in the final few weeks of the Cruiserweight Classic. They really needed that level of match too, since the crowd clearly didn't know or give a fuck. The division isn't dead in the water, and I liked Kendrick's head butt at the end, but my hopes still aren't very high that this is going to succeed in the long term.

Cesaro is a fucking idiot doing that dive.

When is Jericho due to leave? Usually I'd be looking forward to him doing his annual fuck off, but this year he's absolutely on fire and I want him to stay until at least Wrestlemania.

What a fucking mess of a company, you look at the potential and the talent on this card and how they are pissing it right up the wall, Zayn....absolutely wasted since a big win against Owens, poncing about with Jericho who i love but there is nothing here, nothing to get behind. The Club showed a mean streak tonight and all it did was left me wondering how big this match could have been had they been like this from the fucking beginning which is obvious to everybody how they should be booked, I mean putting them in doctor coats and joking about testicles and messing about with the "old day", give me a break. Then you have Rollins, why can't they just make him a babyface and commit to something, run with it, what is all this bullshit even about, are they only going half way because they don't know what they are doing week to week and they are leaving the door open for him to turn back into snivelling cackling Seth. The Cruiserweights seemed off, wasn't by any means bad but just not up to the standards set in the CWC.

I hope they go full on Ultimate Warrior I do and have Reigns win the Universal title whilst holding the US title just to see the neck beards weep.

Apart from the slightly contrived finished I really enjoyed the women's match. It was scrappy and it felt like three women FIGHTING for a title as opposed to just putting on an entertaining match for the fans. The dodgy finish hopefully means there's plenty more for these women to do with each other in the coming months.

Reigns/Rusev was  a slobberknocker but every other match on the card was just sort of there and overall the show felt like an extended edition of RAW rather than a PPV or special event.

Do they want Seth to be a babyface though? He's only in the role now because he injured Balor. If the Balor match goes without a hitch, Seth is still very much a heel and their original plans are still very much in place. This "turn" of his seems to have just been rushed because of the injury to their chosen champion. Whether they'd have turned him face further down the line anyway, we'll never truly know. Maybe they would have been able to do it to better effect and in a better manner as well.
