Fog Dude
Sorry about the lack of a write-up last week chaps. Normal service should be resumed for the rest of the season now, barring any more unforeseen downtime. Anyway, the results went into the opening post this morning and a link to the table plus next week's set of 20 matches will follow shortly. In his much-delayed second D2D turn of the season, ultimo got his bet right and picked up a dozen bonus points as 6 of the other 10 participants wrongly disagreed with him. That of course made him top scorer for the round, but without those bonuses it would've been Stinky Dad. To compound matters, this week's worst performer was his nearest challenger PRINCE2356, who henceforth faces a real fight to hold onto second spot. ZKM didn't play, so he's now 4 points further adrift of Grecian, whilst TildeGuy was the only other player into double figures in a week with a low average score of just 6.75 points. Away from South America, the score in Málaga was a dud, but would've been Glenryck's D2D had it not been for all the disruption! Real Madrid's failure to win the cross-city derby at home (to which my sister in the Spanish capital seems totally oblivious) caused a lot of dropped points too – in contrast to the scoreline at Dean Court which proved the most fruitful of all. Wins for Everton, Liverpool, Man United and West Ham were also mainly useful alongside an eminently foreseeable stalemate at The Riverside, but a rare West Brom home reverse caught a few people out.
