TCW O2 Show #2

Our 2nd show in the O2 Academy following on from HIGH TIDE 17, and we’re bringing a Scottish crew down, and settling a few scores

RAMPAGE BROWN © vs WOLFGANG – Our new, 2nd 2 time Champion’s first obstacle is the Glasgow beast, Wolfgang, a heavyweight with a tendency to fly and enough speed and power to match up to Rampage on a ground offense. Wolfgang’s had a bit of an attitude adjustment in recent times up in Scotland and that’s fine, it's earned him a shiny new championship belt after all.... but if he’s coming at Rampage he’s going to have to come full force!

NEW NATION vs MASSIMO & MICHAEL CHASE – Cos the Tidal Army like to watch big lads batter each other, we went looking to Scotland for some new big lads for Prime and Henry to test themselves against. Massimo has been making a name for himself North of the Border and Chase is one of the best prospects I’ve seen in recent times. This could be a great wrestling match, or it could just be a huge fck off brawl. Either way I think you’ll like it

LANA AUSTIN & LIL MISS ROXXY vs XIA BROOKSIDE & LIZZY STYLES – 3 Leeds Tidal debuts here. The Liverpool girls are making their first appearance in TCW and while Roxxy is a regular on our Darlington shows, this is her first time Down South, and tagging up with 5’1” of trouble, in Lana Austin.

JACKIE POLO vs ACE MATHEWS – Scotland’s Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest Wrestler makes his TCW Leeds debut against The Ace…what do you expect’s gonna happen ? Ace had a strong showing at High Tide as part of Go Team Sports and his sporting nature is ideal to face the leader of Polo Promotions. Expect the rules to be adhered to at all times.

KAZMA SAKAMOTO vs LIAM SLATER – ‘Desparado’ Sakamoto has recently left Japanese company, Wrestle-1 although he spent time in WWE developmental. He’s a free agent come September and his final show on his Euro run is at Tidal, facing the TCW Open Champion, Slater. Liam Lazarus is a name that’s been with us from the start, Liam Slater is hopefully gonna stick around to the finish. This is a non title match so the pressure’s off Slater, but that changes nothing, he’ll be looking for a win over an international talent, who is planning on going home with his name in the winning column

DANIEL JAMES vs HT DRAKE prior to aligning himself with Sean Only, Dan James faced HT Drake for the Open Championship in Darlington, and took a deliberate count to save the title like the chickenshit he is. No title on the line here though, just pride, something James lacks. Drake is on the roll of his life, expect to see him take one back.

It's a busy night in Yorkshire, go where you need to go, but remember where you got to come back to

card subject to change, of course

£15 regular admission from the O2 Academy site or from thetcwrestling.bigcartel.com shop (no booking fee)
ringside seating limited to 30 seats, £18 only fromwww.ringsideworld.co.uk

Wheelchair info from the Academy was relayed in 2 emails to me today as follows :
Our accessible area is situated on the balcony, and we have space for 4 wheelchairs.

If a customer could not attend the event without support from a carer, then they have the option to apply for a free carer ticket. Free carer tickets can only be arranged when booking directly through the box office. We are open Monday – Saturday 12-4pm, and bookings are arranged via email/phone – disabledbookings@o2academyleeds.co.uk or 0113 389 1555.

We strongly advise that customers requiring access contact the venue directly, because our team need to have their contact details in order to understand their requirements in advance of the event.
If wheelchairs arrive on the night prior to booking, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate as the space is limited.
In this instance we can OK wheelchairs at ringside, but they still must get in touch with us directly in advance so we know to expect them, otherwise our team will direct them upstairs as per usual procedure.
We cannot guarantee that space will be reserved on the ground floor in the same way that we can on the balcony, so if the view isn’t great down there for whatever reason, then it has been their decision. They also need to be informed that we would prefer them to arrive when doors open, so we can get them in a good position with a comfortable amount of space before the rest of the ticket-holders arrive.

Of course, anyone with a medical reason requiring seating can go to the balcony, but they must contact us to arrange this. I hand over details with each customer’s name, reasons for needing seating plus any additional requirements to our door team before doors open, so that they know who is going up to the balcony, and why, prior to the customer arriving.
