Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted August 7, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2020 I think I might finally have to concede that it's a little bit warm for me.

DavidB6937
It's the first day I've missed the air con at work for sure. This tiny fan isnt doing shit.
Guy Bifkin
Currently naked in my makeshift home office with a fan under the table blowing cool air directly onto my pendulous, sweaty balls. Will probably knock off early again.

Guy Bifkin
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't worked at least one wank into my new daily lockdown office routine, usually 15 minutes after logging in, but today is too hot for that.

SuperBacon
Thunder and lightning and rain. Get in. Please, please let the temperature drop.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 12, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted August 12, 2020 I love hot weather, and I've loved most of this. But the past couple of days have just been oppressive - the heat by itself I can deal with, but coupled with a humidity that makes you feel like you're permanently stood in the Buddha's sweaty palm, it's near-impossible to get anything done. Minor miracle I've been able to get any work done. Temperature's dropped nicely in the last few minutes; hoping that thunderstorm comes our way soon. wordsfromlee
Last night we had the craziest thunderstorm I’ve ever seen. It was about 45 minutes of constant non-stop rumbling and lightening flashes every 10 seconds or so. I’ve never experienced anything like it. You could apparently see it from 100 miles away.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 12, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted August 12, 2020 Had nothing here at all. Temperature dropped a little, sun went in for about half an hour, sky is now clear. Listened for thunder, not a sausage.
Guest
I'd been told the human body was 60% water, but today I discovered mine must've been closer to 98%.
deathrey
Why is the rain not cooling things down? That isn't how this works, rain is supposed to make it cooler but we had a thunderstorm yesterday and it's even hotter today. We just have 5/10 mins of rain and no change in temperature. I feel like I am slowly cooking.

Can't help but read that in Scott Steiners voice.
