- Bisping got his day. It felt like an achievement for him to get a title show, let alone win. Rockhold looked very dismissive early on, and the fight seemed to be going his way. However, it only takes one shot, and Bisping seized his moment, and finished in style. Chuffed for him, what a story.

- McGregor's resume continues to look better and better. Both Poirier and Holloway have gone from strength to strength since losing to him. I've always been a Holloway fan, so watching him thrive has been a pleasure. He looked in a different league to Lamas at times, and a few shots away from stopping him. The end was just mental.

- If Hendo bows out, it will be on a perfect note. A stunning come from behind victory in his backyard. That elbow was just brutal. If you watch the finish in slow motion, you expect the high kick to be the killer, then you suddenly realise that the elbow is coming. What a visual sequence.  One of the most feel-good victories in recent memory, along with the Main-Event. It actually made me glad that he took the fight, as I wanted him to bow out after beating Boetsch. It would be better if he went out on a major PPV, rather than a minor fight night show. Lombard was a perfect foil as well.

- Cruz vs Faber pretty much went to script. After a rousing start, I was a bit bored by mid-distance. By the 4th round it was evident that Cruz was in full control. So much so that Rogan was musing about who Cruz could fight next. Mentioning T.J and Mighty Mouse. Like the judges, I struggled to give Faber a round.

Mcgregor has a rematch with Nate. Brocks back. 200's just got bigger. And Bisping just won the title. Best fucking UFC show ever man.

Yeah, the UFC is a rosy place right now.

The tributes to Ali were classy and well-produced as well.

That was fucking amazing, the neighbours truly got woken up there.

Absolutely delighted for Bisping, no one can deny that he's deserved a moment like this. Like everyone else, I didn't give him a chance in hell of winning but I've never been more happy to be wrong.

Cracking show from start to finish. Hopefully Hendo and Faber call it a day now too, they've got nothing left to prove/gain.

What's interesting is that Ariel Helwani had been posting all night regarding the fights, yet hasn't posted anything since Bisping won.

After seeing their interview together I think the two are very close after their time on fox together and I wouldn't be surprised if he's off celebrating.

Edit. Shit. Helwani got booted out of the building. I'm guessing for breaking the Brock news?

I was escorted out of the building by Zuffa staff before the main event. Credential taken away, too. Didn't see Bisping realize his dream.

Edit: I'm going to guess this is due to him leaking the UFC's fight announcements? His website broke Lesnar and the McGregor vs Diaz rematch just before the show.

It seems that it wasn't just Helwani. Other MMAFighting staff members were also removed. Helwani got told he's banned for like, and it appears it was to do with the leaked news.

I'll wait for the details, but this is a minor dampener for the UFC. If people from inside the company or related to the company are willing to leak info, then Helwani is under no obligation to keep it quiet. It's his job to report news, and since he left FOX, he has no ties with the UFC.
