Paid Members DEF Posted March 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 9, 2016 I'm not sure I'd dig watching in a pub/club but I've always fancied seeing it in a cinema. The Prince Charles in London would be perfect for it. Anyone know of any showing it?
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted March 9, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 9, 2016 In Liverpool as Benny said, Shooters at Bierkeller has it on and I'd suspect Camp and Furnace as well although I've seen nothing official. Potentially Maguires Pizza Bar too on Renshaw Street. Riley's next to the Adephi is showing it, too. Fiver per ticket but you get that back as a bar tab after entry. Usually a better venue than the Bierkeller, although in both I've put up with blokes trying to get chants going after their third pint.
Otto Dem Wanz
If the Walkabout near Temple tube station in London is showing it I could feasibly leave after 'Mania finishes, have a four hour kip on the Strand with the Big Issue fellas and get to work in time for 9:30. Â I'll probably do the sofa/takeaway/TV at home scenario and book Monday off though.
cleslie92
Go to the Markin' Out one in London. The last two Rumbles have been pretty chilled out, not too crowded and really good fun.
Jon-Carr_92
Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham are showing it. It's free if you get a ticket in advance via their WeGotTickets page. I'm undecided at the moment on going

MungoChutney
I hate watching PPVs in a pub or similar venue because it's full of wrestling fans. My plan this year is to watch it on the Monday morning with my son as the schools are off. That way I can watch and enjoy it properly with someone who hasn't been jaded by years of watching. Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted March 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 10, 2016 In this utterly poxy shithouse called Ireland, they’d have to cut it short at 3am because of licensing laws. Fucking terrible place to live if you want to do anything past 3am.

That way I can watch and enjoy it properly with someone who hasn't been jaded by years of watching.  I love watching WWE with my kids for this very reason. We popped so much for Sami Zayn coming out on Raw to brawl with KO. A genuine memory that'll live with me for years to come. If I'd been with my mates, I'd have pooped all over it saying that they're gonna treat him just like Breeze, Neville, Bo, Rose, Ascension.   And, how come your boy is off school on April 4th? 2Xtreme_lives
Nothing even remotely near Cambridge as far as I can see which is a shame as i'd always quite fancied this kinda thing You and me both :-(
The King of Old School
  And, how come your boy is off school on April 4th? Mine aren't  :-(   Easter holidays.  I'll be doing the same, we go away on the Monday afternoon for a week so will be ideal to watch on the Monday morning.  My lad who is 5 can't wait for the Taker/Shane match. Fucking terrible place to live if you want to do anything past 3am. Scotland is pretty much the same but most place just apply to extend the license for an hour if something is on. Can't they do that in Ireland?
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted March 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 10, 2016 I don't think so. I mean, any time we're out, it's 3am, then "ARE YA RIGHT THERE FOLKS...PLEASE!", rinse and repeat for 10 minutes and then fucked into the cold to get a taxi home. Believe me I have fucking searched Dublin City for somewhere to get a drink after 3am and the only places are backstreet casinos/brothels and they're not fun because you're expected to spend money on drink AND gambling, be it by means of roulette, poker or gonorrhoea. Used to be a place years ago called Spirit that stayed open til 6am and times were good then. On topic, I really would watch Mania in a pub/club environment if I had the chance...
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted March 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 10, 2016 In England, unless places have a 4am Monday morning licence anyway (rare), it's not just a case of places being allowed to just stay open to show it - they often have to be closed-doors ticketed events (for which different licencing principles apply), not something where Joe Public can just wander for a late drink off the street. Â Where the WM parties are being run in conjunction with a live local wrestling show (as is the case in at least Preston, York, Cardiff... and Glasgow) and in Coventry in the past, your ticket to the wrestling show acts as entry to the viewing.
